Market Grille is always great, but now they have a summer menu that includes an appetizer, entree and dessert for $29.99 the only exception was the 1.5 lbs lobster entree which is $15.00 more.We went Sunday evening about 5:30 were promptly seated outside and our server Josh was very friendly and attentive.Great service, great food, great time!
First and foremost Market Grille has outstanding staff. Courtney and Jules were attentive and patient. They went beyond the call of duty to assist us with our elderly mom. The food was impeccable. We got to relax and enjoy our meal. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very clean. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Looking forward to going back. Thank you for a wonderful Friday evening. A great start to our weekend ❤️
Good outdoor atmosphere and views! Good views, most of the food was great, but there was something off about the clams in the fra diavolo and the pasta… tasted very fishy, must have been a bad batch.
Nice setting outdoors, good enough service, but ordered scallops and they were old, tasted quite off, nearly spoiled - I should have sent them back, but with group of 5 so I didn't. Nothing worse than seafood that is NOT fresh! Never should have been served!
Full disclosure, we have only been once and it may have been an off day. That doesn’t however change my perception of the place. Not sure when they opened, but first thing I noticed once we found the entrance was the dated decor. The cowhide banquettes were peeling off and looked horrible. Went for happy hour for $2 shuck oysters, wine, pretzel and stuffed mushrooms. Enjoyed the oysters, mushrooms with great flavor, pretzel was huge but kinda stale. Service was fine. While noticing the dinner prices, and reflecting on our experience, think this place will be a pass for us in the future.
My sister in law invited me and my wife to celebrate her birthday. We went and had a Good time. The service was good and the food was very great and a little pricey for me but I would def go back again
I randomly chose this spot for my birthday dinner this past Sunday and wow, just wow. They accommodated us in a large private room to the side. The waitress was attentive and efficient. Then the food and drinks came and I was like how have I not been here before? Presentation and ingredients top notch. They not only made it an awesome dinner but an awesome night.
The food was amazing and the server well known the menu and the drinks. Very good service. Recommend 100%
We celebrated my husband's birthday on a busy Saturday night. We were seated in the dining room where we had previously had a few not-so-good experiences with service. However, our waitress Ally (Alison) was absolutely outstanding and attentive! She is knowledgeable, friendly and we could not ask for her to have done anything better than she did. The food, as always, was wonderful, and we had a great experience all around. Thank you, Ally!
Enjoyed the happy hour food and drinks. More room than Mill the River, nice view overlooking Hartford!
