Absolutely amazing place to eat classic Italian pizza. The atmosphere was lovely with Frank Sinatra playing in the background, pictures of Frank Pepe, and nice seating. Pizza was massive and filling. Totally worth the slightly higher cost of the large pizzas. Toppings are also well done on the classics. 10/10!

This pizza does not taste good once it gets home and if you're paying 30 dollars for medium it'll be cold and soggy. Gotta eat it there or only go with tomato pies not white.. I'm sure it's the best pie straight out of the oven..that's the difference

I done here often, I usually do take out but dine in is just as good if not better!Tables are bussed and serviced quickly, the wait was a bit longer for the food to come out.Take out I usually call in my order and then leave to pick up. The order is always ready when we arrive. Usually a 10 to 15 turn around after you call in even if they day 20 minutes. I suggest being prepared to pick up immediately because they are so quick with take our orders. Great food, good salads and I recommend the medium size pizza, it is around the size of a large. Worth every penny!

Fantastic. You get what you pay for. You pay more than average pizza but you get fresh authentic sauces, real non processed cheese, local ingredients from their meat to their veggies. No wings, grinders or other appetizers, pizza is their business (and an easy side salad).A personal favorite of my father's l, there's a reason it's been open for 100 years.

I was super excited to see Pepe's Pizza after watching the pizza episode on Ugly Delicious. The pizza portions are good and the flavors are robust. I'd recommend dining in person if possible, as the pizza tastes the best fresh out of the oven v.s. after cooling down in a car ride.

My husband asked me to call for 2 medium pizzas. One tomato with sausage, meatball, peppers and extra cheese. The other was white clam pizza with onions. $70. The tomato pie was tasty, but cheese was hard to find. I expected gooey mozzarella. Clam was dry and boring, and no cheese to speak of. Pecorino was listed on the menu, but I guess I assumed mozzarella is on most pizzas. Expensive disappointment. Never again. Maybe if we're in New Haven...

Don't trust them when they have their "spend $100 on gift cards and get a bonus $20 gift card" deal. I tried to use the bonus card in February but the card kept getting denied. I ordered a pie today and tried to use the card again, but was told by the female manager that it expired March 1. I explained it wouldn't work in February either. She said sorry, nothing she could do. I told her she can keep her pie. Looks like this Christmas, my friends will get gift certificates from another pizzeria and we will definitely not be getting takeout from them in the future.

I moved to Manchester after living only twenty minutes away from the famous original location in New Haven for over twenty years, so I wasn't sure if another location would be as good. I can say I was happily proven wrong. The pizza looks and tastes exactly the same as New Havens they did a great job replicating it. Staff are friendly and courteous too. Anyone that says this pizza is too crunchy without any flavor are sorely mistaken. This is what a real, old school pie is all about. Yes they are a bit pricey, but you have to be willing to pay a little more for the best.

Awesome place! I have been going here for years now, always consistent and a place you can count on for good pizza all the time . Service is efficient, and staff/cooks are great with adhering to food allergen protocol. My son is allergic to dairy products and we have never had an issue. Staff gladly leaves pizza uncut and will use separate sauces, change of gloves, etc to make sure NO cross contamination occurs. Not to mention pizza always comes out cooked to perfection.

Pizza: 5 starsService: 5 starsDelivery Fees: Don’t become like your competition. Don’t become a greedy, terrible company like the mega-chains. My “delivery fees” and tip should NOT be 52% of the cost of my order. You’re better than this, Franks!
