I ordered the lobster roll for $25 and onion rings. My husband ordered the fish and chips. The lobster roll was pathetic. Barely any lobster and what lobster there was, was dried out, tiny pieces with no flavor. It looked like I got last week's leftover lobster. Almost inedible, very disappointing. The onion rings were actually good, beer battered and easy to bit into, the onion was well cooked and didn't pull out of the coating. But I didn't come for the onion rings! The fried fish was average, very hot, but not sure what type of fish it was. It wasn't typical white fish, had the skin left on. Not very tasty. The Cajun fries were very good. So I guess if you are looking for good onion rings and fries, you'll be fine.
Honestly would never order here again. Lobster roll literally delivered with two small claws inside…that’s it, the roll itself was 3x larger than the nite sized meat inside
I was just about to have a luncheon at this location but my dinner from today was the worst. Two piece of fish maybe 2.5” x 6” each and a lot of fries x two dinners for $33 dollars. I wish I had checked my food before I left the restaurant. I know the rent my be high at this location but if they serve a fair dinner it would be busy. This is just my opinion.
We ordered crab and clam boil and got clam and scallops. When calling to speak to the manager about the order, he was rude, didn’t listen and argumentative. The fisherman’s platter we ordered had over cooked shrimp chick were as hard as a rock along with the calamari being over cooked.The manager was NOT willing to listen nor correct the order. Instead, he wanted to argue with the CUSTOMER! This was our first and last time with this place.Friends/Family DO NOT order from this place or any of their chain locations. Clearly they don’t care about their customers or the quality of food they serve! AWFUL!!
My husband and I stopped in for my birthday and I'm so glad we did! I ordered the Hartford bag with the Chosen 1 sauce and omg it was HEAVEN! Aaliyah helped us decide what to order as we had never been. The chosen 1 sauce was literally the best recommendation.. I could drink it lolFor all the comments I've seen about the cost being to high... its a seafood restaurant, did you really think it would be cheap? In my opinion for the quality and uniqueness it's totally worth it!
When we first started going here the food wasn’t bad. Now it’s really bad. Our food wasn’t cooked and we order fried shrimp basket and we were given marinara sauce to go with it. I was told by the staff that’s what you get ! Never heard of marinara sauce with shrimp and fried clams. Won’t be going back
First time here, experience was great, friendly staff! Food was delicious!! That garlic butter sauce...TO DIE FOR!
Ordered 1 bag (King Crabs), lobster tail and extra corn.…...Wow, where is the FOOD for amount paid?????Could've went to Olive Gardens or Red Lobster for better quality & quantity of food!!!!
Not sure why this place is rated low. I’ve eaten here twice and both times the food was consistently good, the staff were courteous and the place was clean. I had The Hartford seafood boil both times and the flavor was on point and portion sizes were perfect. I’d like a little less grease but that’s just a personal preference as I generally don’t have any bread etc to lap up the sauces.
Had a shrimp basket to go & i remember getting more shrimps when i had asked for the “owner” Michael. Some reason couldn’t do it & ladies in the front very rude. Asked for the bathroom and continued to laugh.Seriously need new employees & manager. Not sure how the owner can come up with extras on the order and claims that he never done it. Get it together but until next time ..
