I love phở and a have tried a fair number of bowls of it at various area establishments over the last several months, and I think I can declare that this is the best out there -- better than the four I've tried in the WeHa/Hartford area, and better than the ones I've had in East Hartford. Rare beef slices were tender and flavorful; meatballs were likewise tender and well-spiced. The broth has very bright and clean flavors, not too salty; and I like that they give you a couple of jalapeno pepper rings with the sprouts/lime/basil. The large is truly a large -- certainly more than I should have had for lunch. I'll be back for sure.
Great service and awesome selection of Vietnamese food. My family and I have been here twice already. We were very happy and satisfied when we left both times. Everything came out quickly, and the food was fresh and delicious. I would definitely recommend coming here.

I stopped by at VN PHO today and tried the fried garlic chicken with egg noodles as the staff recommended as new dish. Omg, it’s Incredible!! The chicken was fried enough, very tasty, juicy and tender. It came with a sauce that makes the noodles become completely perfect… The pleasant eating is still with me now when I’m writing this. Guys, you have to try this dish!
I ordered food from here through Uber eats and overall it was alright. The food came hot and fresh. I ordered teriyaki shrimp rice with veggies and a milk bubble tea. Honestly, I’ve had better bubble tea but the shrimp rice was amazing! The only thing I hated was the way they packaged it made all the sauce drip into the takeout bag! Which wasn’t a big deal for me, just wouldn’t like that to happen again.
Delicious pho, this is my mother’s favorite place to take me for authentic Vietnamese cuisine in the Hartford area. The service is really quick and the food is extremely satisfying. The owner owns the nail salon next door as well and they and the staff are very friendly.

I haven’t had a good bowl of Bun Bo Hue for a long time!!! Glad I found this place. One recommendation for the owner/manager: please have the fish sauce/sauce bottle at the table :)
Delicious pho tai nam. The beef bahn mi sandwich is so tasty. Nice friendly service. Good covid barriers separating the booths.
Went to VHPHO Authentic Vietnamese Restaurant tonight and tried 3 dishes, first the Grilled Beef Roll was so delicious and full of flavor with the right spices for dipping sauce I used the sweet chili sauce. 2nd was the Chicken Pho Soup wow was that good full of fresh vegetables and noodles and the broth was so flavorful. 3rd I had the Grilled Pork Sausage Roll it was so good and delicious had the sweet and sour fish dipping sauce. Customer service was spot on and always there when needed. For that I give it the Cardillo Scale Rating of 5 Stars, HOME RUN!! You must come down and try VHPHO you won’t be disappointed. ??
