After having a shockingly terrible service experience at Max’s Downtown, we returned to Trumbull Kitchen, Phil greeted us with genuine joy, grace, and exemplary hospitality. Although the food was not the caliber that we were craving for our celebration, the incredible care and excellent service that Phil and Hayley showed us made up for everything tenfold. The true purpose of this review is to encourage the partnership of this franchise to acknowledge and reward Phil for his refined skillsets and unique sensitivity, which is of the highest value in this industry.(Repeated for emphasis).

This is a great spot to get a top quality piece of protein with a delicious, often inventive set up. The specials are frequently on point, and the happy hour tapas are some of the best deals in town. Always a treat. Solid vibes, with the exception of some questionably loud EDM they start blasting sometimes near closing on the weekends.

The hangar steak is amazing. The most tender meat and pure symphony of flavors. Caramel sweet sauce on either broccoli or asparagus.

Great food and friendly service

Excellent food. Chicken was full of flavor. The Maple old fashion was amazing.

In Hartford for the night and stopped in for a cocktail and a bite. Great choice!! Great ambiance, food and service. We tried the Rock Shrimp and Sweet Potato Fritters and the Caramelized Onion pizza. Both were delish. So happy that they had blue cheese stuffed olives for my martini! Dana on the bar was fabulous! Attentive and entertaining! Thank you, will be back when in Hartford again!

We had lunch there and it was great. Super nice staff and the food and drinks were spot on. The blood orange margaritas were delicious and so was the marinaded hangar steak. We will be back!

Solid local experience. Reservations helped to ensure timely seating. Like the menu concepts ranging from seafood to land lover type selections. Note that the quality is good. I would put a little elbow into the presentation to elevate the status of the restaurant. But again, the wait staff was helpful and timely. Like this option in Hartford.

Trendy eatery located in downtown Hartford, CT. I love to try seasonal cocktails and usually I disappoint myself however I tried the Ginger Poire and it was amazing! I also had the duck confit fritters and they were alright but honestly the duck was very dry. The main course was meatloaf with tomato jam, cheddar mashed potatoes and green beans. While under seasoned (something that I thoroughly dislike in restaurants) once a bit of salt was added the dinner was outstanding. Had the main course been seasoned properly this would be a 5 star review even with the dry duck.

A MUST if you are in the area!We (company team) had dinner here on a Tuesday night during the 2022 NE Hardscape Show. Booking was super easy for a larger group (7 people). We ordered three appetizers for the table - amazing! We were so impressed by the flavor pairings. Great wine selection and even better menu. We were so impressed and had a great time! It was about a 14-15 minute walk from the Convention Center. Highly recommend.
