Food and cocktails are good here, I like their chicken Lo-Mein. However, their service is very slow. I was waiting for more than 10 mins to order food and the same happened to get the check. The ambiance is decent.
One of my favourite places in Hartford! Lots of original drinks that constantly revolve around seasons and times of year. The staff is very friendly and the food is pretty good. Not "top 100 restaurants in the USA" good, but like a great neighbourhood weekly spot kind of good. It's also very LGBT-friendly which is a refreshing addition to the West End. Overall, whether you're a visitor from out of country or someone who grew up near Hartford who's looking for a new place to try, I'd give this place a try. It's a very safe choice for afternoon brunch with a friend.

Always a great place to go...I enjoy the fact that you can go for coffee/tea in the morning, lunch in the afternoon and dinner/cocktails at night. Everything on the menu is pretty incredible. The place has a cozy feeling and is welcoming to all. Brunch is particularly popular, especially given the outdoor seating available. All in all, a great spot in the west end of Hartford!

My fave place to go for Coffee/Tea, and I love that they do brunch on Saturday and Sunday! Friendly staff, very diverse crowd. Food and drinks are definitely great esp for the price ? (Good place to go and have a drink at night also, usually has a live DJ on weekends)
This place has gotten a lot of my money throughout the years and I enjoy every visit.I recommend Tisane to all of my friends and family and take them there myself whenever I have the chance. The staff are phenomenal, I've never had anything on their menu that wasn't delicious, and they have the best martinis in town! Super LGBT-friendly too! It's places like this that make me proud to live in Hartford.

Very relaxed atmosphere I suggest trying their drinks. I had a Purple Haze & Taken Me For Pomegranate. Then I had the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich with fries. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed myself at Tisane. I definitely recommend this place!
