I've been going to Tangiers for years now and they don't ever disappoint. Must tries: Falafel wrap (ask for the spicy version if you want a kick in your wrap), lima bean stew, their quinoa salad and baklava. I also always pick up tea (they have some really interesting flavors) while I'm there! The owners are so caring with everything they prepare and it shows. They're a Hartford treasure!

This is the place I compare all other falafels to. Simply the best. Ask to get your falafel wrap spicy. You won't regret it ❤️

Good food put very pricey, be careful what to order. All groceries are 50-100 % higher in price than similar places . Yogurt drink every where 2$ they sell it for 4$ . No prices are out there so you get surprise at the cashier

Found Tangiers on a list of exceptional restaurants to try published by "Only in Connecticut" and I agree wholeheartedly! The men working were friendly, lunch was freshly prepared and served quickly, and everything was beyond delicious. Unfortunately we don't live locally because otherwise we would gladly become regulars. I will 100% be recommending Tangiers and stopping again next time I'm in Hartford.

I really recommend their food and specifically their sandwiches. But the grocery shopping here costs more than the similar places. The owner and people working here are also very helpful and nice.

Great place to stop for a bite or to shop. Great homemade food and you'll be tempted to order more than you can eat. Had baba gnoush which was delicious. Spinach pie was ok. They sell Mountain Tea to take home. I have only found that in Greece. Great stop.

Best place around! I have never had anything that is not a cut above most places!

I wish I lived closer to Tangiers, but I go whenever I can: the gyros are The Real Thing, made right in front of you by the folks at the small grill. You can eat at the counter or at one of the few small tables (no doubt due to Covid restrictions, the seating is limited). I stock up on Taramasalda (sp?) in jars and often buy some of their homemade dishes to take home. A small gem.

The food is always fresh and delicious. Everything is super clean. I have not been able to find a better falafel anywhere else!

Best falafel I've had! Cool market with lots of fun things to try and everything is good!
