Fish + grits + home fries and you can add scrambled eggs with cheese. That's my go to. They have a good veriety of food, I've never tried their lunch menu, but when it come to breakfast..A1

I ordered breakfast from here. French toast, scrambled eggs and sausage. I had no issues with the food. I had an issue that it took 40 mins to be done. I tried to call in my order but they wouldn't take my order over the phone. I'm not from Hartford or a town nearby so to have to wait 40 mins in my car for that really turned me off from coming back here. Thats the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars. I would say if you are going to order food from here, be prepared to not be able to call in your order and be prepared to wait 30+ minutes for simple orders.
This restaurant has been a part of my life since the early 80's. Have to stop in for the Georgia Red Hots.
Service was phenomenal and so was the bacon and egg( sunny side up) sandwich, it was made perfect. My husband enjoyed his grits,hot rope saged sausage,cheese eggs,& white toast, also the peppermint tea was great!This is a hidden gem in the greater htfd north main st area. Keep u the great work Ladies the place is run by woman!????
Because I work there and they have the best food in the north end of Hartford so go there and get your eat on okay I holler
