This place has the BEST smoothie bowls and smoothies. They only use real fruit/ veggies and their açai is pure organic açai from Brazil. Not the sugar added preservative full sherbet that Playa Bowl uses. They are focused on serving healthy food in Hartford which is hard to find. All the workers are kind and helpful. Prices reflect the quality! Real fruit is so expensive and they don’t cut down on portions or quality. Great place. Recommend to everyone who cares about eating real healthy food free of additives and fake ingredients.
Hands down best Açai bowls and smoothies in Connecticut!!! Huge portions for both. Worth every penny. Everything is made to order fresh and customizable. They can do gluten free, dairy free and vegan - anything in their menu. They are also super careful about food allergies, they use separate blenders for nut allergy. WhAt a gem!!
The açaí is very watered down - So much so thatIt doesn’t even taste like legit acai. Very bland. I’m assuming the oat milk is low quality as well. Over priced garbage. And they up charge for everything.
Long overdue review- I remember when this place had a soft opening before the grand opening. It was a great night, wonderful atmosphere and we all tipped generously. After there grand opening I visited and spoke to a few employees who claimed they never got tipped. Further more one of them asked the owners and their response was that "it was family and friends, so it doesn't count". Plus the owners never made a deal with the local parking garages so employees have to pay to park or park on the side of the road having to go out every hour or so to add money to the meter. Garbage owners.
Super good place - delicious! Nice to have healthy options in downtown especially near UConn. Their peanut butter is my favourite part - it's very simple with few ingredients with a heavy peanut flavour. I'd recommend this to tourists and locals alike!
Super great people and friendly service. Been wanting to come try something for a while and I was not disappointed!! Super great vibes as soon as you enter and very welcoming staff. Highly recommend and will come again
After a long weekend of Irish Step Dancing, my kids wanted a treat. We stopped and picked up a couple of delicious items that were raved about for miles up the road. The best part, though, was the service! One child left their water bottle outside. When contacted, the staff at Rush Bowls not only confirmed they picked it up, but then they shipped it back to us! Rush Bowls just became our new go-to food stop when in Hartford!
To respond to the owner who asked me if I was a Russian bot account, nope. I did buy stuff at Rush Bowls a few months back when I visited Hartford and genuinely didn't like it which is why I gave a 1 star review.

Where to begin with this place. First you walk into music that is blasting! You can't hear yourself think and when asking questions about the menu you can't hear the employees the music is that loud and I love loud music so for me to think it was loud is a problem. Second myself along with two other customers watched employees handle multiple utensils, going in and out of that back and never changing gloves. So to the owner if they read this wearing ONE pair of gloves all day is unacceptable. Finally after getting my smoothie I discovered I was charged an extra dollar. No big deal, a dollar but the point is this place is terrible! This is what happens when there's no supervision and there's 20 year olds working there. I'm a 22 year old and was taken back by this experience how this place is still in business. I found a great place tho JUICED UP ON ASLYUM DOWNTOWN IS AWESOME. Thanks for making me finally find a great place friends and I can go and get a real smoothie
