The jerk chicken was hard and dry. The only thing that’s good at this restaurant is their curry goat , oxtail ,soup and steamed fish .

I come here all the time and usually have the best service. I come here mostly because it reminds me of my mothers cooking. I was born here and am half Spanish, but my mother was born and raised in Spanish town. I never thought I would be discriminated against here. I ordered a stew chicken with white rice and steam veg, the women gives me the smallest container and says they changed the size, the person behind me orders the exact same thing and gets a larger container. Unacceptable. I even had my bf go in and order after me. He’s darker skinned and has an accent and ordered the exact same thing and got treated better. Disappointed
Enjoyed my Ackee and saltfish breakfast. Portion size big enough to share with 2 ppl especially paired with porridge or dumplings. Meal came with boiled dumpling, yam and banana.
Wood was delicious and a huge portion, got the stew chicken, very good food, my dashdoor driver latisha was awesome.
I will NEVER come back here. After 2 seperate occasions the service was TERRIBLE. The first occasion I called 20 minutes in advance for breakfast. When I got there the girl forgot my order and I had to wait another 20 minutes for my food. I called in advanced bc i needed to go to work. The second occasion I got there I was not greeted by the guy that was up front. He completely ignored me and was talking to one of the girls. After 10 minutes to 15 minutes of waiting another girl asked me if my order was taken and I told her no. She gets me the side of curry chicken and the box was half way full with little to no gravy. When I opened it, i said i need gravy smh. the cashier was not even at the cash register. When she attempted to ring me out I asked for a straw she said they don't have straws in a rude way bc i asked for gravy. And when I give her the money she starts talking to the guy again while I'm standing there waiting for her to cash me out for another 5 minutes. I could of just taken the food and not pay as a lesson. I will never come here again. These ppl are teens kids, some1 teach them the importance of customer service, organization, attitude. People will never forget how you treat them. It doesn't matter about the food at this point. You try to support black businesses and they take your money and don't even care how they treat you. Im 100 percent dissatisfied and i will tell my family and friends not to support and come here again.
Customer service is horrible. Service is dramatically slow. And they didn't have ANY thing I wanted. I liked them better when they were off blue hills. Smh I won't be coming back
