I'm In the area all the time and I stop in there maybe twice a week sometimes I get the chicken tenders over brown rice if I'm really hungry but most of the time I get the wings I love the seasoning, and The taste is really good, I'm a good cook so I know seasonings you guys should try them out
KFC? Popeye's? Nah, if you're in the mood for some delicious fried chicken, this is the spot. I'm sure all the other food is just as fire, but I just keep getting the chicken.
The food is awesome and service too. Spicy chicken sandwich is a Hit
Have been coming here for over 10years. Perhaps under new management but service and food has gone down noticeably. Last time food was off and thought it was an aberration. This time same. Very rude and condescending new people working behind the counter now too. It's a shame.
Very underrated. Good food always. Great service! Halal!
Wow... I mean wow... nice Halal and taste wonderful. Really good.
This place is like a treasure that's been lost and just been found very good food

KFC? Popeye's? Lol yeah ok. If you're in the mood for some delicious fried chicken and you're not coming to this place then you're playing yourself. I'm sure all the other food is just as fire, but I just keep getting the chicken.
Hood chicken is the best chicken.Seriously, step out of your insular friend bubble and make your way here for well-seasoned, crispy, delicious fried chicken parts. They don't even need sauce... although a side of barbecue or hot sauce doesn't hurt either.I work all around the Hartford area, so whenever I'm working close to this stretch of Farmington avenue, I try to stop in. Yes, it's in a bad neighborhood. But the people inside are always friendly, and the product is great for a reasonable price. The ONLY thing I would avoid here is the mashed potatoes. They're edible but kinda lousy. Still, the fries, biscuits, macaroni salad, potato wedges, even the rice... all solid choices.Prices are good - I spent $40 to feed three hungry movers, and still had enough leftovers for my wife and I to eat dinner the following two nights. I'd call that a solid deal.
