My daughter loves the food here and said i had to try it. The pulled pork bowl was delicious. It had so much flavor and the sauces they used are delicious. It was worth the trip. Wish we could have a Mofongo nearby as we would go often.
Food is good MY ONLY ISSUE IS I spend $30-$40 and receive the wrong order or the toppings aren’t on the side or missing!!! It’s been 3 times I’ve gone and all 3 times I’ve had an issue w my order!
Hands down, the best food court I've ever been to in Hartford, occasionally doing live music performances over the weekends, Fridays specifically. Night life is even better with the party lights & the smell of an open grill?
I can start with the cashier was nice, I will continue with the organization of the restaurant is lacking. The cook was rude and didn’t complete my order in a timely fashion nor accurately. When I did finally said something it was thrown together hastily. I can’t imagine spending my money here again. And the “juice” not worth the price
I ordered a blackened shrimp salad. It was missing ingredients and the cilantro lime dressing which was the reason why I ordered it to begin with. Also the shrimp was not blackened. The person in charge didn’t tell me anything as I ordered and seemed not very apologetic after. I spent $70 in food there and the least they could do is try to accommodate the customer.
I really enjoyed my meal. Porks was nicely fried, it was tasty and filling. There is often long lines.
This was my first time at Parkville Mofongo, had been to New Britain once and enjoyed it. Had a terrible experience at Parkville. We sat at the bar and ordered on-line for delivery and were with friends. Mofongo called me, let me know they were out of Sorullitos, I told them just to substitute whatever they felt appropriate. Everyone else got their food but we didn't. My wife went down to pick it up and I'm not sure exactly what happened, they were out of several things and only gave her our appetizers, no main dish and no explanation or refund. Apparently they were out of Alcapurria Bites as well, gave us three Papa Rellenos Bites which were grossly over cooked and greasy and an empanada, which was delicious. That was it for our $43 tab. I went down and the manager only said the on line ordering doesn't work right. They were also out of Salsa, she made up our main dish, never apologized or offered something. Still paid full price even though we didn't get what we ordered. I even included a tip because we were expecting delivery. Generally would communicate to the business management rather than post online, and went to they web site, they had a big thing there about feedback: "Our corporate team always wants to hear your feedback about your visit." However, there is no link or information about how to get in touch with their "corporate team". Certainly the person in charge at Parkville when I went there was not helpful. I'm also perplexed how they can be out of basics, like salsa, it was not a particularly busy night. Go there with caution and do not order on-line!
The crispy chicken rice bowl was good but the sauces really made the food taste better.
Lots if delicious choices, although a number of items on the menu were unavailable the day we went.
I ordered a couple pizza empanadas, but I guess they gave me the fill-your-own version instead... should be call an "emptinada". The sweet plantains were tasty, though.
