The reason for the two star is because the first time I went there I ordered 4 sandwiches and each sandwich was missing cheese and bacon and mayo I went today 5-5-22 and ordered the teriyaki chicken cutlet and I added cheese the guy remembered as I was paying so he put the cheese on but he forgot the bacon as well but he did remember at the last moment they are very forget people but know how to charge the food is okay but nothing to rave about I’ll be finding a new deli won’t go back
I just wanted to take a minute and thank all the staff at Max Deli in Hartford. Since I started working in the area last year I have visited this establishment many times. Jeff and his crew always greet me with a hello and how’s your day going. I appreciate the great service I have received every visit not just once or twice. Many times I am in a hurry in between meetings and they always get me out quick and efficiently. Keep up the great work and thank you for making my lunch experiences something to look forward to!
Good place to grab, friendly service. Nice option in the area beside fast food.
This place is beyond disappointing. They did not just raise up there prices on their sandwiches. But, they also forget almost every time things I have ask for to be put on my sandwich. I have called to place orders & I guess every time they would mess up my sandwich they remember who I am. Now they don’t even want to pick up there phone. They say, they to busy. But, once getting to the location it is not busy. 7$ for a bacon egg and cheese ? pathetic. For that I got to Dunkin’ Donuts and get 2 bacon egg & cheese for 5$. I WILL NOT BE COMING HERE ANYMORE. SORRY. SERVICE SUCKS. MAKING MY ORDER SUCKS.

Chewy chewy bacon on the softest soggiest bread with a price tag that makes you think your ordering a steak!!! They got my 1 time donation...I had a turkey bacon BLT, even my partner had a chicken sandwich with some sweet pickles and they were not good sandwiches.
Gave me weird roll for my chicken cutlet...sweet pickles which is nasty (I ordered dill pickles)...chicken was mostly gummy breading....place looks nice and food sounds good...best part was the chips!
First and last time I'll ever eat from this place. A couple of my mozzarella sticks were stuck together, they were still cold and partially raw, ew. I had to spit it out! The red velvet cake felt and tasted like it has been sitting for a while because the whole outside was hard and crusty (stale like), of course the inside was soft. Pure disappointment.
This place never gives me my orders correct nor hot. The first time I ordered sausage and cheese no egg because I am allergic, of course they give me egg so I couldn't eat the sandwich. Second time it happened again an egg on my sandwich, the third time was today my sandwich was finally made correct, BUT I asked for toasted and the sandwich was far from that. It seemed like they just threw everything together and serve it to me. This is not okay. Also was told today at 9am when I called that they were on their last sausage, at 9AM? When you opened at 8am? GREAT. Three weeks ago they were out of Portuguese bread so not really a big surprise. I work down the street at a car dealer ship and we all refuse to go there now because of there constant mistakes.
