I love this place. Just had some curry goat with white rice last night. Super good!! The customer service is on point and the owner is really nice.
The curry chicken was great and got more food than I ordered! Excellent staff as well especial coming in 15 mins before closing. This was my first time here but I will defiantly be back!
Bought a large chicken soup that had LITERALLY no chicken in it. Plenty of broth and dumplings though. As far as I'm concerned, that's stealing because it was done deliberately. Period! Theives!! If there is no more chicken soup just say so. Instead of ripping people off with just broth. Not like I can return it and prove I didn't already eat the chicken.
Customer service was excellent. Even though it was packed, the staff moved expeditiously. My reasoning for taking away 2 stars is the chicken. It was over fried to the point that it was dry and not edible. The pieces that were edible, had absolutely NO SEASONING. ??♀️THEY DO HAVE A SIGN HIRING FOR CHEFS. IF YOU ARE A CERTIFIED CHEF THAT CAN SEASON AND PROPERLY FRY CHICKEN....PLEASE GO THERE AND APPLY.
This meat is so tough. Highly disappointed . I’m a rice girl n this was not acceptable. I should have ordered from a different Jamaican place. I see good reviews but I guess it just all depends seems as if they have different cooks. Won’t b ordering again .
This is truly a 3.5. I was visiting the area and wanted food from back home. I googled the best in the area and this location out did everyone else. The Pepper Steak was perfection however, the cabbage was definitely not how I grow up eating it nor how I cook it. The Oxtail was not impressive I think that had more to do with how busy they are and they seem to cook through out the day so quick cooking. Just my opinion on that and lack of flavor.... The rice again perfectly cooked. The jerk chicken was ok, just marinade them longer so the seasoning can better incorporate.... The pate are horrible, too much steam in the warm box causing them to sweat and become more soft than a crisp crust *I'm a baker* ... There is a great selection of drinks and snacks... The atmosphere is chill and laid back the staff is polite and work fast.
Food was excellent and served promptly and hot delicious would recommend to any one who loves cook food soon to return for some more oxtail rice and pees steam cabbage ?
Food is pretty good and for the price, definitely worth it. I ordered a coconut drop and they gave me gizzada, very disappointed there but the food overall was good this time around.I ordered delivery and it was delivered with acceptable timing
The food was just what I needed. It was made fresh and the people behind the counter were great. I really enjoyed the cabbage and jerk chicken.
this place shouldn’t be called dunns river bad look for Jamaica. food is NEVER fresh jerk chicken as dry as popeyes biscuits. why put sauce on my fried chicken to make it soggy.
