I received a burnt salmon and it looks like the added my candy yams then took it back out cause I’m missing my side
I got lucky and found this spot near my job and two days in a row all I have to say is this food feeds my soul. You HAVE to get the wings but if you like seafood their salmon and shrimp hits the spot. Definitely make sure you stop by here. They share the entrance with the barbershop in case you get confused on the entrance.

I ordered from Uber eats and I chose Carson meal due to the picture they had listed for the Oxtail dinner when opened the container nothing like on Uber eats no lima beans no spinners cabbage over cooked a container filled with rice peas no gravy. I was so disappointed that I called to explain what I have and the most disrespectful person answered the phone, not caring that my money is helping to paying her salary. So I had to ask for the manager he was more better explained that t what I got and what I saw was false advertisement I will never order again.
The food was a good portion. The food is very good. There is a longer wait and limited driving distance on Uber due to COVID, I believe. Regardless, it’s worth the wait and the food was still very hot. Order way before your starving due to wait time. Love this food. Ordered whiting, bake Mac and cheese, cabbage, curry shrimp, curry lobster, white rice and yams.
I really wanted to enjoy this meal but I couldn’t. I decided to give this place a chance after seeing them on IG. Firstly they didn’t even have what they were advertising and they did not even have Soup. So I decided to just go with chicken. The chicken was DRY, lacking in any flavor. I did not get the oxtail gravy I asked for but I did get some salty rice. The entire meal was a let down. ?DO NOT LET THE PHOTOS FOOL YOU. Anyone who gave this place more than 1 star never ate here twice
What’s the point of running a business when they never answer the phone to take orders smh, and even when you do call to get through they never have what you want. Not to mention the customer service and very unprofessional. Food is mediocre at best to be going through all the nonsense, restaurants like this don’t last long. Every Black/Jamaican restaurant in Hartford is the same we gotta do better.✌️
