Aurora's is a gem. Everything that comes out of their kitchen is thoughtfully crafted with quality ingredients and absolutely delicious. Their traditional Guatemalan dishes and daily specials are, without exception, stunning, but they also churn out some of the best burgers and breakfast burritos I've tasted in the area. Their baked goods never fail to disappoint - always balanced, fresh, and attractive. They are great for takeout, and because they have such a gorgeous interior and outdoor seating, it's also a great spot for a breakfast, lunch, or dinner out.
Delicious Guatemalan cafe and bakery. Great tasting food, pastries and drinks. Lots of interesting and tasty options. Me finding about this place was a welcome surprise. Have been visiting ever since.
Very good the only problem is there is not too much seating in the restaurant.
Wow! The Auroras Bowl isRose!! Delicious. One of the Only places in the city you can get Black beans and Rice, believe me I’ve been searching…Wow Awsome! Authenticate food here and great people!
The food was incredible! I had the veggie bowl which was full of freshness, flavor, and comfort (with leftovers for 2 more meals!). The grilled pineapple lemonade was a unique treat perfect for replacing an alcoholic cocktail if you are doing dry January. My dining companion who ate meat was highly impressed with the hearty breakfast. Nothing was oily or over-salted, quite healthy for restaurant food. The dining area and bathroom were very clean, and bathroom was fully handicapped accessible with all pull rails. Metered parking is easy right out front, or for free on the neighboring side street. There is no sign, but parking in small lot right behind restaurants is just for staff.
Such a gem! I highly recommend Auroras...they filled a very large order for me to take to a family friend in need. I even added an assortment of their fresh and delicious pastries when I arrived - the ladies were so pleasant and accomadating! One gave me a suggestion to try the Atol de Elote (sweet, warm corn drink with cinnamon)...it was huge but I drank the entire thing and wanted more! Everything was exquisite and inside it is decorated so nicely, almost like a quaint french bakery! The restaurant has parking right in front, on side, and behind bldg for those who don't want to walk far. I can't wait to go back and try their whole menu!
Had lunch inside Auroras recently. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was super good! Got a steak wrap with a side of plantains for $15 dollars. Also got a papaya drink, that was huge and made fresh. Would definitely try again for lunch or breakfast.
Stopped in for breakfast. Really, really good food. We had the Guatemalan Breakfast with huevos rancheros and the Monte Cristo. Impressive all around.
The food is phenomenal, cooked to order. tge staff is always welcoming. Their fresh juices are amazing. outdoor seating for warmer days. I highly recommend
