Love this place. Authentic. Been in Hartford a long time. Family run. Have take out and dine in. Wentcoften with husband and family. Not so often since husband passed, but made it back finally. Nice as ever. Glad they survived COVID.
Had pork, steak, chicken meats, a shrimp empanada, and all the plantain and bannana deserts.The rice and beans and all the meats were excellent. Top notch rice.The empanada was so good it made me mad about about the lobster roll i got in RI.I want to come back!The value is excellent!

Honestly the phone lines were busy for hours.. BUT.. the food is 2 year old approved. I can't tell you how phenomenal this is. You have to taste it for yourself and give a 5 start review seriously. I'm Hispanic - American born and raised in hartford and my family are straight from PR born and raised.. this food tasted like I was on the island.. it can't get anymore authentic than this. If you're missing the tropics-m, want to feel like you in your abuelitas kitchen or just want to taste some authentic Spanish food .. this is your spot.

One of our favorite local restaurants for years. Great flavor and service. The owner always gives us a warm welcome. My son loves the rice and roasted chicken so that's always our go to order but everything tastes and looks good.

Went there today with my wife, place is clean and food was great! I highly reccomend going there. Customer service was A++++, I think it was the owner, he gave my wife some pique homemade. Dudes awesome
