this place was AMAZING! we found this gem on our way back from MA to NYC! they give HUGE portions, my friends and i were extremely full just eating half of the plate! the aesthetics were so adorable and the workers were so kind, they knew how to do their job! we would love to come back here more often but we live in nyc please go here it's worth it!!?
the design and food are unique and it's always a pleasant and joyful place to eat at lovely people, food, and manners. I would highly recommend this restaurant to people looking for something new
This place is a local gem. My first time having food from here I order the pulled pork mac and cheese tacos for tale out. Excellent and it even heated well the next day. Went back to dine in after daughter's graduation. Everyone's food was excellent, came out in a timely manner and the portions are not small at all. They don't serve alcohol but their drinks are big and amazingly cute.Hats off to the chef because they are consistent. Only took pics of the drinks, didn't think to take pic of food.
Awesome place for brunch. The food and drinks are well plated and displayed as artwork. Friendly and prompt service. A hidden gem in the Behind the Rocks neighborhood in the west-end of Hartford.
My sister and I just went earlier today and had a FANTASTIC TIME! We took so many videos of the drinks and food. We were also blessed with a wonderful waitress named Shannon (ask for her if you go in, her energy is so positive and genuine). American & Mexican Diner not only puts effort into making delicious meals, but the time they take to make for the presentation is EXCELLENT! I'm going back again, and taking pics and ordering something else on the menu! Hopefully Shannon can make me that delicious Berry Smoothie again! I'm confident that everything they prepare is just as scrumptious! Everyone must experience this hidden gem spot!

We are visiting from Dallas, and looking good breakfast place. Found this place with a cozy atmosphere, good food, and fantastic service. We ordered Mexican Omelet (no meat) and French toast. The waiter messed up with meat, a genuine mistake, but made my better half very upset.They recooked the food and which made her a bit happy. But got us really delighted leaving the place by their sentiments. Most restaurants end up voiding the cheque for better service experience, but some go beyond to show their mistake by offering a genuine apology. And that goes a long way. Thank you.
