Chicken tender was fresh and very tender. Chicken shawarma over rice: the rice was full with flavor and the seasoning more relevantly to Indian spices. The shawarma was also rich with flavor and very tender. Shawafel was good too. The tahini and garlic sauce were delicious.
If you get the right menu items, like the actual Halal menu, it is really good. The service is generally not fast but they often have a large orders so it takes a while to make all them. Chicken Shwarma Combo. Baba Ganoush. Good french fries. You’re not getting that in a whole lot of places at midnight.
Perfect meal, great quality and taste. Good portion size.
SECOND TIME in ROW …SMELLY AND STEAL FOOD.WE literally THROW Chicken over kabob order to dustbin (Photo attached ). Chicken was rubbery in nature whereas Frenchs fries look doubled fried with frozen stuff.THIS WAS MY LAST ORDER FOR THIS PLACE .I am done here.WASTE OF MONEYI used to like this place when they had small food place at same street. They used to have good and refresh halal food with nice Mediterranean taste.I picked up order both time . Food was smelly and steal in taste both time with different order items .First time I thought it might happen by mistake but its in row with different food items.they shouldn’t do such horrible thing during such pandemic times
This place used to be really good one of my favorite spot in CT but I ordered yesterday pizza which didn’t taste good at all Barely any cheese on it also steak bomb sandwich was horrible meat was uncooked you can see red meat. I guess owner is no longer here some young guy was on the phone didn’t care about anything.
I just got a plain pizza and surprisingly thought it was great. Didn’t think the pizza at this place would be anything special but it’s better than a bunch of other places I’ve been to. Will be back.
After traveling for 11 hours and getting into Hartford near midnight our food options were severely limited. Aladdin Halal was not only super quick with their delivery but seriously some of the best lamb I’ve had. The lamb grinder was phenomenal and the Koufta Kebob Combo was so on point! The rice is so flavorful. Can’t wait to eat here again every Hartford visit (probably even this week) and everyone should too!
Experience depends on what you get. Got the chicken shawarma over rice, and the chicken was very dry and bland with no flavor at all. Rice also had an odd taste to it. The chicken shawarma grinder was pretty good though.
Place was straight up trash. I can’t believe we wasted our money on this garbage. I am so disappointed in the bacon that was pretty much non existent on my pizzaNext time, I will just order dominos and call it a day. I had to listen to my girlfriend complain for three hours and for that alone, I would not comeback for a million. Bucks. A happy wife is a happy life.
Truly a gem in Hartford. The vegetarian options are delicious! Try the platter it comes with aromatic grains and to top it off they add fried onions. Then you have the hummus, the most amazing hummus I think it should have its own brand name. It could easily beat sabra. I will let the other sides be a delicious surprise. I also ordered the Chicken Shawarma, I asked about the marination because the aroma of the spices brings you somewhere else, well I won't share their secret recipie here. Lastly the owner was very kind he had me taste the baklava which was something else. One bite and the desert melts in your mouth. The whole atmosphere was oriental and just comfortable. This is the place to be in Hartford during the day or at night! One of the healthiest places to eat. Enjoy!
