Delicious Japanese food in comfortable contemporary setting. Great service. Higher end of price range but satisfying and delicious ?
The ambiance is really nice and clean, with privacy, foods are truly great quality, reasonable price, staffs are articulate and friendly. My family love the place.
Absolutely in love with this place! I moved back to CT from the West Coast in 2020 and have been complaining about no "real" ramen here - well I can't complain anymore! Literally everything we tried was amazing!! Be sure to try the Rangoon and the Gyoza, you won't be sorry. Yes, as some others have said, the service was a bit slow BUT they are brand new and make up for it with friendliness, quality of food, and prices. Some things are just worth waiting for!! (P.S. They have a full bar!)
Very excellent Tonkatsu Ramen, Gyoza and boba! Definitely suggest any of these if it’s your first time here. The broth is also light but very filling.
The feel of the place is open, and they decorated with a few Japanese art hanging on the wall, and some decorative Japanese storage boxes when you walk in. The taiwanese popcorn chicken appetizer is slightly reminiscent of the real thing, and we enjoyed the ramen noodles we each ordered....although mine was a bit too salty that I couldn't finish the broth.
Wow!! I can't believe this gem wasn't packed when I visited. I learned they've been open for two months and hope they have a long stay here on Whitney Avenue. The food was delicious. I've never had Ramen but saw the reviews raving about it and I absolutely agree. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. It is very clean and the environment had a fresh aroma.I will be visiting again and bringing friends. I would recommend you do the same.
I'm hesitant for the 5 stars ONLY because of the service. The food was great. We started with the Steamed Pork Buns (great) and Jasmine Green Tea (so great). For dinner, she had the Saporro Shoyu Chicken ramen and I had the Baja Roll and the Spider Roll. The ramen was absolutely delicious. Broth was fire. And my rolls were great. I liked the spider roll more because it was more balanced.I'm giving 5 stars although the service could have been a bit better. It wasn't bad service at all. Just more attention to what we might want/need, so we can have the best experience. We really enjoyed ourselves and hope you make this tweak to get people excited about the great food you offer here!
Heard some good things about this new restaurant so we decided to stop and get takeout. We got some apps, rolls and a noodle bowl. Everything was very good, including the passion fruit tea. Will definitely go here again.
Some of the best shrimp fried rice; ordered a second to eat later it was so good. Food was great as was the service, fast and delicious.
Tried the Sapporo Shouyu chicken ramen tonight and WOW. The broth was so rich and flavorful. Definitely the best ramen I've had to date. I ordered online and was impressed with how they packaged this to go (the broth was packed separate from the noodles, etc). Highly recommend!
