Went there today I always get legs only from this place this rude lady said she can’t do that today I asked for the manger she refused to get eh manager. This place is a disgrace. Can’t believe I have to argue with someone rude making 8 bucks an hour at a drive thru. Time was 530 pm find out who was at the drive thru and speak to that person immediately very impolite person!!
Yesterday I was in the Hamden area and stopped at popeyes. It was so delicious. I had the sandwich combo with the Mac and cheese. The Mac had so much homemade flavor and the sandwich was hot and juicy ?I live in Manchester ct. But am from New Haven CT. The best popeyes in hands down is in this area ?
First time in my life i waited for my order at a fast food restaurant for 30 min. They have 10 people working in the kitchen but can't get my order done in time.
Walked in a few days ago to have lunch with my boyfriend. We had a very bad experience at the Waterbury Popeyes recently but we were SO pleasantly surprised today by everything. The place (e.g. ordering area, tables & seats, & counter) was so clean, even behind the counter! The staff were on point with our order & friendly. My boyfriend went to the bathroom & he said it was cleaner than ours at home! Nice job management & staff! We will definitely be returning.
Worst service. My mistake was going inside to order. Usually driveway is faster. I had 3 people in front of me. I don’t mind waiting but I waited 15 minutes just to not get my order taken. The problem is that once it was my turn to order the girl went to her manager and left to the back. The manager should take over and make sure everyone’s order was taken. But no. I tried the driveway but a whole conversation was happening. I ended up leaving without anything after being there for 20 minutes.
Popeyes seems to have a common characteristic in all the ones we visited in Flushing Queen,s, Hampden Connecticut, Denver Colorado, Orange County California and finally Ninuet New York, all within the last 2 week: Horrible customer service, never getting the orders correct, even after going over the orders several times with the employees taking the orders and finally, mediocre food to add insult to injury, that in most cases waiting up to an hour to receive. I personally will never set foot in another Popeyes ever again!!
There was no chicken ready except mild thighs which was actually what I wanted, but when opening the order at home... wait for it.... got 3 way overcooked breast, 2 thighs 1 with no skin. Also they were out of Mac & Cheese and Rice w/ Red Beans. That's why I got the 2 Can Dine instead of the 10 PC. Family Dinner thank goodness. $$.Probably won't go back to this Popeyes (Dixwell Ave, Hamden CT) it's like the 3rd bad experience here in 4 months. It's a bad day when Stop n Shop chicken is more satisfying.Features: Not really any restrictions, the staff is still masked though if that makes a difference to you.

The food is much cheaper than other fast foods. The food is healthier than burgers. The workers should clean more often as they work, especially in the French fries section.
I ordered a chicken sandwich and French fries and what i got TOOK MY BREATH AWAY! Instead of getting my sandwich and French fries I got CHICKEN NUGGETS AND COLESLAW. I went back inside of the restaurant and they laughed in my face and told me they did not care and that they could not refund me BECUASE I ATE IT ALL! Even though I ate all the food they still should give me a full refund. I am extremely mad and I am thinking of taking this matter to court if something doesn’t happen soon.
