I went to CT to visit some family and we stopped by to grab a bite and we were so lucky to find this gem of a spot. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food was out of this world. I was craving enchiladas but wasn’t sure if to get green sauce or mole sauce and they mixed both ! How nice of them. We also had some fresh guacamole and chips and a few mixed tacos, shrimp, steak and al pastor which were also so delicious ! My bf had an horchata and I had a Jamaica drink. It was so good, we devoured it we forgot to take more pics LOL. I will definitely be back to try some more dishes ! Best Mexican food in Connecticut!
Food was delicious! I got the steak tacos with rice and beans on the side. My husband got the grilled chicken special. All the food was seasoned perfectly and delicious. We also ordered empanadas, they were huge and very good. Definitely would eat here again!
SO GOOD!!! And so reasonably priced! So far we have had tacos, burritos, nachos, and enchiladas (and guacamole and horchata). Everything has been absolutely delicious. I'm so excited this restaurant is here.
Nice little quaint spot in hamden. We were greeted by a nice young lady who sat us and gave us menus. They were out of Margarita mix so we had soda...they were also out of ice. I was ready to go at that point but decided to give the food a try. Very fresh ingredients and nice portions! The fajitas come out sizzling on cast iron plate, great plating as well. It lacked something in the seasoning. The soup was amazing and it hit the spot! It was needed because it was chilly inside. Also seem to have ventilation issues as they were cooking it got smokey and they opened the front door!!! More cold air!!! It was a decent lunch just can't enjoy my meal if I am not comfortable!
Best Mexican Food BY FAR in the area. We just moved to CT from Los Angeles and we never realized how spoiled we were having so many mexican food places near us, but Orale makes us feel like we're back home (even if we are a bit colder). The shrimp Taco's always hit the spot and the burritos are enormous and delicious. You're not eating good Mexican food if you're not eating at Orale!
By far, and I mean BY FAR, some of the best horchata I’ve ever had. The tacos follow that statement as well. Highly recommend.

DELICIOUS! First time trying Orale Tacos and I’m SO glad i tried this place! Coming from Queens NY, i have found it so difficult to find good, authentic Mexican food in CT and now i found it- 5 min away! Love!
Best Guacamole , It had just the right amount of lime and salt .The Burrito was flavorful , even the rice was well seasoned . Coming from NYC , I must admit that I thought food in CT was disgusting in comparison ( still do ) .However this restaurant reminds me of food in NYC delicious, they are truly a exception.My first time I ordered there , I ordered 3 days in a row lol . It was so good !Only Con is Sometimes very hard to reach as no one will answer the phone for orders , and you can’t order through apps . Also it appears that only one person is taking calls / cooking / and ringing up most days
