Good grub if you got time to burn
Worst service! It seems like they are always out of chicken and other add on’s even when you go in the afternoon. Food is not at all fresh.
I knew it was going to be a gamble eating here when the first thing I saw was no protective barrier behind the counter. Every pathogen and particle that enters the front doors can easily get into the food. Proteins looked severely dried out. I saw steam coming out between two of the 6 pans and understood why.For those that don't know, steam does heat up food (and should only do so on a very short-term basis), and it also can dehydrate food by the molecules vibrating until they evaporates from the heat.Food also looked like it was made many hours ago. Tacos are definitely overpriced. Rice bowl with spicy chicken only have a flavor profile because of the jalapeños.Located in the Hamden Plaza off RT 15, exit 60. I probably will never return, but maybe you'll have a better experience if you're willing to risk it.

Came in the workers in the front didn’t greet me just looked at me & never took my order had me standing there waiting for about 5-7 mins so I left the food station was messy & looked disgusting

Enter at your own risk. I order three tacos (kid) and ended up paying $13 for an apple juice and three soft tacos for my son. Staff were not professional. Everyone had tension towards each other and no one could tell me what a kids meal included. I’m never going back.
Food was great...Fresh. Dining room was a little dirty. Tables could have been wiped a little better. I understand the food industry is under staffed, so this is to be expected. With all that said, I will return.
Taste was good. Rice was well done compared to other moe’s or other similar chains. Kids meal quantity can be better……..
