Fantastic, authentic Mexican cuisine! Food was perfect. Nothing too fancy - just delicious, wonderfully-cooked Mexican food. Super friendly staff. Highly recommend if you're in the area and in the mood for Mexican!
Great Mexican restaurant. Delicious meals, they have really amazing tacos. Salsa is incredible. The selection of drinks is also good enough. Professional and attentive staff, our waitress was so helpful. I was here only once but definitely will come back.
Absolutely fantastic new addition to Hamden!! My boyfriend and I finally made it here for some takeout, and boy were we impressed! The restaurant is cute and clean, staff wore masks, and our server Mary was so sweet and friendly. Their salsa selection is great, our favorite is the pineapple habanero, but make sure to grab a horchata to wash it down, it was hot! The tacos are outstanding, the chicken is so juicy and flavorful, and we demolished our chicken tinga flautas. We left no crumbs!!!This is genuinely some of the best food we’ve enjoyed in a while. I can’t wait to go back and try everything on the menu, and also to see Mary because she’s the best!!
Honestly the best tacos I've ever had. This place is a gem, everything we had was delicious and everyone was super nice (and wore masks). The chicken and vegetarian tacos were so good I literally woke up thinking about them the next day LOL. My fiancé had the tortas and loved them. The hibiscus agua fresca was amaaaziiiinggggg, the carlota de limon was delicious, and all the salsas we tried were great. Definitely found our new spot for Mexican! :)
Incredible food!! We just happened to stop here while on a long drive and was amazed by the food. The salsa was so flavorful and fresh. I ordered a chimichanga and my friends got the tacos. They provided pico de gallo and dipping sauces for our meals. The service was fantastic too. Give this new restaurant a try, you won’t be disappointed
The best tacos I’ve ever had. Try this awesome chicken taco with kiwi and mango. The whole meal we had was delicious. It is my spot for Mexican Cuisine.
I came in last Thursday for a to-go dinner, and I was not disappointed. After years of being a displaced Mexican with few options, it's a thrill to have a place that's so good so close to my house. I had a torta, which was made with bread baked at a local bakery, and the milanesa was crisp and delicious. The chipotle sauce was excellent! While I think it was a little mild for me, it was still so good and so affordable. This is going to be a regular spot for me from now on.
Absolutely wonderful meal!…. Our waitress Mary couldn’t have been more kind or helpful!! She was a real sweetheart!!!Will come back every time I have a taste for Mexican!!…. Even the bottle coke was original from MexicoAbsolutely the best Mexican I have ever had!!
This is a new restaurant....with that said, the food was very tasty! My tacos were delicious as was the quesadilla. The steak torta had great taste but the steak was very chewy. I'm going to give them a couple months to get into gear then go back.
A wonderful new Mexican restaurant added to Dixwell Avenue.A light modern twist on simple and classic recipes.The homemade salsa, especially Habernero Pineapple was delicious.I had a Pollo Taco and the Breaded Chicken Torta.Usually not a Torta fan, but the bread is from next door at Venice Bakery and made fresh.The peppers and cheese roasted on top was great.I will be back.
