The first time I came to this place the Vietnamese soup was amazing and the entrees too. I naturally came back with a friend, (almost 6 months after my first visit), and ordered the same: “ Vietnamese soups and the entree #61 that it’s basically pork meat with a sauce”. We had the Soups and the taste was amazing! But a few minutes after, the waitress brought the entree and the smell coming from it was HORRIBLE, like a strong rotten smell! I told her that the smell it’s telling me that food can’t be offered anymore, it’s rotten, it belongs to the trash, and I won’t eat that! The waitress raised her voice and said that if I was already full, I shouldn’t order an entry, ignoring completely the reality of the situation. I repeated the same: THIS MEAT IT’S rotten ma’am! That’s the problem! So she just took the entree mad because it was going to be a “wasted meal”. They didn’t charge for the entree but the fact that they tried to give me rotten food, and have a “shame-less attitude” it’s unacceptable! Please do not come here, they don’t care if you get food poison!
Going down hill. Use to be my favorite Pho when in the area for business, but I’ll look elsewhere. The portion was extremely small for the price and they didn’t even have limes to put in the toppings bag. Lemons!!!!
I like this place a lot. I ordered pho, as that’s what I usually go for in a place that offers Vietnamese food and it was great. The soup might be lighter than other places but it’s not the kind of “light” that would make it less flavorful. It’s just as good and just a little less saltier, which is good for your kidneys. Vivian (the lady) is great and will help you with your requests! (I sometimes ask for extra veggies and she always delivers, I adore her) She’s the best!
Yeah no thanks no more. Place will be out of business in a year. They dropped the Chinese food menu which was in my opinion the best option. I still asked for something off the Chinese menu which they made me last month no problem and the guy said no and started walking away. Only after I found him again I asked for something similar which I threw away in my kitchen garbage after 2 bites and 13 wasted dollars. Done
Their food is always five star. Had the grilled chicken with rice tonight and it was amazingly good. Staff is beyond pleasant and welcoming. If you have not tried them, you are missing out on wonderful food!
I visited for lunch yesterday and we ordered some Pho, a beef Bahn Mi and a mango boba tea. The flavor on the meat in the sandwich was wonderful, and honestly I could just eat a bowl of that beef alone! The pho was tasty and the mango drink was really good and creamy.I am interested in trying more things from their menu someday in the future!
The standards for this place have just gone completely down hill. Vegetarians beware, the vegetarian pho is not vegetarian. They make it with either chicken or beef broth, your choice. They do not have vegetable broth and I wouldn't have known had I not asked. I order the only true vegetarian dish on the menu. The vegetables tasted like they came out of a frozen bag and thrown on the grill. The noodles were hard and chewy. The whole dish was flavorless. My grandmother's meat dish was so bad she couldn't finish it. We ordered hot tea and it was Lipton bag tea. When you go out to a restaurant you hope to get better than what you could make at home. Our family has been coming to this place for years and unfortunately this will be our last visit. Very sad to see what this place has become and the worst part is they charge people money for this terrible food.
Pretty good. The broth is more flavorful at our usual restaurant in Albany, but this was good. Service was good in spite of the later hour.
wife and I went today had the cl phone with brisket, flank and round rib eye sooo fresh and flavorful also had the summer rolls loved it, we usually have it with shrimp and chicken this one had shrimp, chicken and pork really good and I love the chili oil spicy and great flavor. I will definitely come here again and will recommend anyone to check it out.
The food is good. BUT, the portion is low. Go to a standard pho spot in bigger cities, the price is lower, and you get a lot more pieces of meat.
