We sat at the counter, food was good, but all I could smell was mold from the building.
Sooo good! And the staff is amazing! We stumbled across them after staying nearby and going to the casino. The sausage, biscuits and gravy was delicious! ♡
GREAT FOOD AND PLENTY! Had a great experience. Fabulous waitress and great cook with a nice sense of humor. Small place but big positives. We are from MD and came to see my handsome and smart grandson’s Navy graduation . His recommendation was right on. Norms reminded me of the show Cheers atmosphere wise. Great job all around guys!! ?????
What's not to say, Norms Diner is an absolute staple to the Groton area of CT. I have been a loyal customer for years and have enjoyed many breakfast and lunches, The staff are friendly, the owners are great and personable, every meal I've had has been quality and always leaving me wanting to come back for more. It's the best Diner I have personally ever been to and there's a reason why my friends and I have nothing but positive things to say about it. Its an absolute must.
What an incredible Sunday brunch at Norms today. Visiting from NYC, you often don’t find diners with much character in the city. But this is why leaving the city is so rewarding.Steve (one of the owners) sat us at the counter and the next 1.5 hours were the most entertaining, delicious, and memorable of my diner experience. His sister was an absolute pro on the flattop and everything was just perfect.I had the Stack: two eggs, two sausage Pattie’s, home fries, and sausage gravy. Side of scrapple. SO. FREAKING. GOOD. Oh, the pancakes too. Just so perfect. Wouldn’t change a thing.If you’re ever in the Groton area and need a classic American meal made with love and some sass, go to Norms. You will not be let down.
Positive experience start to finish. Found this spot in a Google Maps search and I'm pleasantly surprised. Peter our waiter was not only super nice but funny as well. The food was GREAT and good prices for your portion size. We will definitely come back, do yourself a favor and stop by for a bite, you won't be disappointed.
Best diner hands down! Even my white toast came out perfect! The owner is the kindest person I have had a conversation with in over a year- the welcomed all their guests by first name & it was a great environment! Service was 100%, waitress was beautiful & kind!
This place has an old diner feel and the staff are extremely warm. The food we had was also excellent in my opinion. If you're ever in this part of Connecticut, I strongly recommend trying them out. You won't regret it.

Man this place is great for a hearty breakfast! They get the food out to you pretty quick and with great service. This was my go to spot when I lived in the area, but if I ever come back I'm coming straight here for a great meal! P.s. I highly recommend their French Toast!
