So I went to Groton Townhouse after therapy I felt like a nice salad. This is what they served as a BLT SALAD. The lettuce was bulky with a lot of spine pieces the bacon hard then egg medium well just very unapealing. The manager refuse to see me and it least offer a alternative. The server simply said he's busy and can't come out but he did come out to greet another coustomer. My last time with them.
I love it here. Great selection of food. For the first time I ordered breakfast food. It was delicious.I love the soups here. Only one time did I get a bad one to go. Lots of yummy desserts are always available.My fav here is the whole clams.Generally you get a pretty good portion of whatever you order.
Usually stop here at least twice a month with friends. The food is always good, and a good value, the service is usually very good, and the desserts are AMAZING!The 1 thing that could improve is the coffee! - because a good cup of coffee would go a long way with enjoying the cakes!

I normally thoroughly enjoy this place. The food is great.However tonight I felt unwelcomed as I walked through the door. It was about 8:10pm and the hostess with a star on her neck welcomes us with a "just so you know we close at 9"I was already aware of this, I wasn't walking in at 845 or 850. I didn't even plan on staying here after 9, but it feels unwelcoming to be getting pushed out before we sit down.
Great food, good portions. Kerri P our waitress was awesome. Had a few questions about sea food. She got the answers for us. Service was great. If you like deserts this place has everything. Lol. Never seen so many deserts options.
A very fine family restaurant with a diversified menu and exceptionally great food. A plus for the quality of service from the staff which was courteous and friendly. Facility is nice and homely and clean. New to the area made a good impression. Definitely will be returning back. Maintain those high-quality standards ?..
