Nice little lunch counter spot. Had a delicious lobster, egg and cheese on a roll that was very generous with the lobster. Good ice cream too. And the younger person working the counter was very gracious.
Forgive the headline, but definitely check out this awesome part of Noank, CT. While some of the photos I’ve posted are from what looks like an empty place, I assure you the joint was jumping at lunchtime. We LOVED our Lobster Roll (cheaper and without the wait of certain nearby tourist traps). But they also have a delicious Sliced Steak & Boursin Sandwich. They also made a mouthwatering maple milkshake by hand (after their 60 year old milkshake maker gave out moments before they got to our order lol!). The staff was extremely professional and friendly, and the retro look of this 100+ old establishment was a joy to take in. We will absolutely make a point of coming here again when we’re in the area!
Great little local spot with friendly service. All menu items looks great and it was difficult to choose just one item each
Carson's is a local Noank staple. Very good food. A small place with big charm. If you make time for Abbots on your visits to Mystic, then Carson's should be on your list too.
Absolutely amazing little hole in the wall diner serving up daily 5 star dishes targeted towards every type of palate and taste profile. Everything was fresh, locally sourced and made with genuine love. Recommendations for all.******
Wonderful little cafe that is worth the extra drive and is in a very scenic seaside town. The food was fantastic, eggs benedict for my son, pancake for my other son, and the Irish omelette for me, which was stuff with perfectly grilled onions and huge chunks of delicious corned beef. This find is no "local greasy spoon!" I would certainly go out of my way to come back. The server was delightful- kind and patient as my 7 year old carefully ordered his pancake, which he also remarked was excellent.
Picture if you will, a step back in time to an old fashioned diner complete with stools at a Formica counter and a few booths I mean seriously folks this place is like right out of the 1950s! No WiFi just dam good sandwiches and burgers and wonderful breakfasts all day! My friend and I went yesterday and we both had the grilled turkey and bacon ? cheddar cheese with avocado lettuce and tomato ? and a honey mustard sauce sooooo good!!!!! Noank is a quaint little town so do yourself a favor and give Carson’s a try
Fantastic breakfast and lunch spot. Their Ruben and Irish eggs Benedict are my favorites, but it's all delicious! I love that it's a place I can grab just a sandwich, without sides/extras.
Food was fantastic. The decore is antiqued or antique I couldn't tell. Service with a smile too.
I'm usually not a person to do this but my experience was less than pleasurable. I ordered pickup and they forgot my side of sausage, gave me a single plain piece of french toast when I ordered the full $14 meal, on top of that my sandwich ($10) wasn't wrapped all the way with half being exposed to the bottom of the bag. The staff was nice but we paid a good amount for a good breakfast , but we just didn't get that experience unfortunately.
