This restaurant used to be SO GOOD. It was one of our go-to places while visiting my grandmother in town. However, after our experience today, I don't think we'll be going back. The food is completely different, and not in a good way. I went with three other people and none of us were thrilled with our dishes. I'm only giving two stars because the dumplings and bubble tea were decent (though overpriced in my opinion.)
Small place with decent food. Clean and easy parking on the avenue. Vegan options available. Nothing warrants a revisit but I enjoyed myself.
We stopped in for lunch after a friend suggested we try this restaurant and we weren’t disappointed. The service was great, prompt and courteous and the food selections were delicious.Great prices for the area, ample parking and lots of window options to view the AvenueWell done
A few years ago I’ve eaten here and it was tremendous. I’ve eaten here recently and it was terrible. They give you paper plates and plastic utensils to eat with. Food was bland and greasy. I wish they didn’t change.
Quality has gone down in the past year or so. Steam used to be high quality and well priced, but not so much now. I used to love their sesame chicken dish but they use noticeably lower quality chicken now :(
Disappointed with level of service and food feels overpriced. It seems like they are still figuring out how to do takeout....My order was not able to be completed, but instead of informing me so I could choose another item they delivered half the food. When I called there was no apology or offer to fix things. Very inconvenient and poor customer experience.
I ordered their Tonkatsu Ramen and I have to say this is the worst Tonkatsu Ramen I’ve ever had. They asked me if I wanted Chicken, Beef, or Shrimp with it. Who the heck asks that question?? It should be a given that Tonkatsu is Pork Ramen. The broth was watery and not indicative of anything beyond a generic Chinese Noodle Soup. Their other offerings are decent, but avoid the Japanese offerings here. They’re clearly bastardized Chinese versions.
Bubble Tea and Amazing Pad Thai in one Spot!!!
Don’t even think about delivery from this place. Screwed up or didn’t deliver half our order. Waited over an hour for them to fix it. Awful. What was delivered was cold and tasteless.
** THIS PLACE USED TO BE REALLY GOOD BUT NOW IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT **If you are looking for good Asian food in Greenwich go to Little Thai Basil, Abis, or Asiana instead. This place used to be the best value in Greenwich for Chinese and other Asian specialties. Then they got taken over by the owners of Moon, who completely ruined the menu by making the food worse and at a worse price.
