Nicely surprised by this new place!I had excellent Turkey avocado and comte' sandwich for $13.My decaf was fine not perfectThe place looks inviting and colored with happy orange colors!Nice place and I will try it again sometime soon
Raphael’s is a beautifully ran family business. All staff are friendly, personable and build positive relationships with the customers. It is a pleasure coming here. Everything is delicious and freshly prepared. The coffee is very good too. This is my favorite bakery. I make sure to come weekly or biweekly. Coming here makes you nostalgic for France. We are fortunate to have this lovely ran business in the town of Greenwich.
This was our first stop in town and it was the best start to our day. Family run establishment with great coffee, pastries and sandwiches. The gentleman behind the counter went out of his way to make recommendations for us in town once we told him we were visiting for the day. Sweet people, great food. We’ll be making this our first stop from now on. Merci!
Be sure to stop by this delightfully French , authentic family owned bakery for a delicious cup of coffee and one of a plethora of delectable treats. I walked in thinking I’d try the napoleon, ( different from the Italian version with icing on top) but after practically inhaling one I decided to also sample these little round puffs sprinkled with coarse white sugar on top, ( triple dog dare you to eat just one!) called, chouquettes. Oh my goodness gracious!! Light as air and the pastry dough the perfect consistency. If you are like me and have a penchant for freshly baked, high quality baked goods and find yourself in Greenwich Ct. do not leave without visiting this bakery!
My family's new favorite place in Greenwich! We have loved everything we have tried. So far our favorites are the croissants, chocolate chip cookies, french baguette, tomato mozzarella sandwich and the quiche. We enjoy just walking into this special place - the smell is heavenly and the owners are so gracious. It is ALWAYS a treat. A can't miss spot!
Codogirls ♻️ favorite spot in town! We LOVE everything there is to love about their baking goods, from croissants, to fruit tarts and napoleon. They always welcome you with a positive attitude and freshly baked baguettes. The smell of the freshly baked baguettes can compete with Chanel N5!!! Raphael's make our daily job a lot more pleasurable.Thank you very much for the art of perfectly baked pastries :)
An amazing bakery with even better hospitality.The croissants, breads and other French pastries are some of the best I've had. What makes the experience even better is the warm atmosphere the family provides.If you're in the Greenwich area, I highly recommend Raphael's.
I am in love with this bakery. I live in White Plains, but will make every excuse to go back. The pastries are perfect. My kouign amann was flaky and chewy and surprisingly not too sweet. The chocolate chip walnut cookie might be the best I have ever had. They put a little choux pastry on top of my coffee. A thoughtful and tasty touch. I am excited to dig into the baguette and multi grain loaf this am, but I am already planning my return ti have a napoleon.
Today along with bread I ordered hot chocolate with cinnamon. A very nostalgic experience. I am originally from Trinidad and the first sip brought me back to my grandmother's table. This is exactly how she would prepare it. I remember the earthy taste of the cocoa drink and its smooth texture. What was missing was her table. The bakery is operated by the owner and it was good to interact with him personally as I chose what bread I would have for today's purchase.
There are not enough words or stars for this incredible bakery! One bite of any of the delectable pastries, breads or treats and you will feel transported to France. The family is so welcoming and warm that it only enhances the food. A true slice of heaven!
