The octopus appetizer was very tasty. Ordered ribeye steak but it looked and tasted more like NY strip steak soaked in a lot of oil. Cavatelli was ok. However, the server Anthony was very attentive and personable. It was a pleasant experience but not memorable.
The menu has changed with the new owners, tried the grilled salmon. Not impressed.
Super new spot!!
First time at this restaurant and the wait staff was attentive and the food was good. Would come back again.
Always a great experience
The food and service are ALWAYS really good.
A great place. Good food and service
the food was very dissappointing--esp the branzino/---the apps were just so-so
From start to finish we were attended to brilliantly, our waiter gave a good run down on the best things to order.Everything was cooked beautifully. We had steak and lamb chops, both were divine. Sides were ginormous and we definitely ordered too many. I couldn't finish it all and that rarely happens. My favourite was the onion rings, followed by the German fried potatoes. This place isn't cheap but it is special. It books up quickly so get a reservation in early
Amazing!Made reservations about 2 months ago. A friend told me to take a tour of the kitchen & wine cellar. It was amazing how every item on the menu had its own work area. Everything is prepared when it’s ordered, not before. The restaurant makes everything - even salad dressings, soup, sides. Their steak was very good. I’ve had better at Peter Luger. The desert room should not be missed. All the deserts are home made. Nothing compromised. This was an amazing experience. If I ever go back to the , Berns will be my first stop.
