We love Louie's but somehow our experience last night left something to be desired in the way of service. It was a quiet night, and somehow, the waitstaff must have let their guard down because we had hardly anyone checking the table, and filling water glasses. Had to track down the host to pay our bill after it was sitting on the table for quite a long time. Also, the wine bottle we ordered was not chilled to the appropriate temperature. All at the table commented on that (and we are not ones to "overchill" wine). Hopefully they will not be complacent, and get on top of this, so we can again count on Louie's to remain in our stable of regular places.
I gave it another shot since the first time, during the pandemic, it was not that great. First time, the food and service were good but the place smelled a little funky. This time it was definitely a better experience and I will definitely be back.

Food was delicious .
Mostly good food but awful service. One other table asked for their food to be packed to take away because they finally had to leave. We were there an hour and 47 minutes. Just before we were going to leave, our food came. I asked for pink lamb chops; some were pink, others were raw. We were asked to pay as if everything had been done at a high level.

Two families celebrated birthdays and it was fantabulous. The food is delicious served piping hot and the staff is great! We love Louie's!
