This diner has an amazing menu, breakfast 24/7, and a wonderful staff. What more could you ask for?
Good food and good serviceUpdate: last Friday we went into this dinner and we attempted to order some food. Well when we got our drinks they had no ice whatsoever and we attempted to tell the waiter but he didn't want to be bothered. We then asked for the manager who was not there at that point myself and my wife got up and left. WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS DINNER. IF I WERE YOU I WOULD STAY FAR FAR AWAY
Great food and service! The servers are all very nice and the food was really good. Their iced coffee was massive and strong. Great bacon and sausage. Their chicken tenders were shockingly good, not dry at all and their eggs and home fries were great. Only dinging it a star because it was a bit of a wait for our server to take our order and for your food to come out, and the food is a little pricier than what I would expect for a diner.
We just needed a small dinner. I had the Onion Soup and it was truly Home Made from fresh onions. Croutons were crispy and there was a thick layer of white cheese. The Calamari was ordinary and the Hamburger was huge with lots of fries. The appetizer Chilly was thick and just enough Zip. The service was good and the food was tasty. We walked from the Stanton Inn in about 5-6 minutes.
It’s awesome to see all the high school kids on Friday and Saturday nights at the Glory Days Diner. So respectful and really enjoying themselves. Our experience was also very good. The staff and the food were great.
Very good atención but not crazy about the food :(
There is nothing like a brunch at the diner where the menu choices are unlimited. The food is delicious and the wait staff is very friendly and attentive. Very expedient food preparation. Yet you don’t feel rushed. All the food is delectable and fresh.
I sat down and waited a long time for some one to take my order. The last time I was here I also waited a very long time. The server was on her phone, had to get up and call her over to get her attention.
Great food ... great service....Convenient place to go to Sunday breakfast and place you football bets....?
My family and I stopped by this diner while passing through Connecticut. We were appreciative of how good the food was after a long drive. The service was okay. Friendly but not as attentive as we would've liked. For instance, our waiter did not come check on us to see if we needed more water. But he was friendly and helpful otherwise.I ordered the matzoh ball soup which was good. It tasted like a low sodium broth. Then I had the warm roasted veggie bowl/salad which was really good. Fresh and nicely portioned. My youngest son had pancakes and stated they were less than average. My oldest son had the baked macaroni and cheese with pulled pork. He said it was good. My Mom ordered the butternut squash soup and that was delicious. She also had the corned beef Reuben sandwich with french fries. That was really good. Lastly my husband said his burger and fries was average.Overall, we recommend this place. And would visit again.
