The best deli out. In my eyes, no one comes close. You pay for what you get and you get alot for the money. Food is always good, fresh, and tasty. You won't be disappointed.
I go to this place weekly and wish it could be more. The sandwiches are very generously sized and not to mention delicious. If your in the mood for a wedge, hoagie, or however you refer to your sandwiches, you need to give this place a try for sure.
Hands down one of the best delis around. The wedges (sub, grinder, hoagie) are huge and packed with deliciousness. If you’re near by I would highly recommend you stop in, you won’t be disappointed.
Best deli in the tri state area. And trust me doing construction in high end areas all over fairfield country and new york I have been to a lot of very good delis. Nothing compares go this place. Anthony is a really good guy and his staff is great. The very best there is no debate!
I stopped in at lunch today with a guy that grew up eating these sandwiches. They insisted I come try a “wedge” which is new to me, but just means sub/grinder/hoagie. I’m giving this 5 stars for two reasons. I’ve worked in sandwich places for the last 17 years. I’m pretty aware of quality and freshness when it comes to sliced meats and cheeses. 1. The bread was really good. 2. The sandwich was absolutely massive. I went with the Italian combo and the only thing I would maybe knock it down to a 4, if I did, was the meats. There wasn’t a ton of flavor which to me said maybe it was prepped a little in advance but it wasn’t bad by any means. These guys were making food nonstop for togos and deliveries from what I could see. They had a good selection of sides and salads to take home if you wanted. A really large menu to choose from as well. I would definitely come back again and try one of those chicken cutlet sandwiches next time. It looked amazing.
Abraham Lincoln could not tell a lie. Neither does Firehouse Deli. The sign out front is true. They have the biggest (and best) wedges around!
Sandwiches are incredible and we always order from here. Definitely worth it and reasonably priced.
I am not one to write a review when it relates to any food or hospitality as I am in the service industry as well and know it can be difficult with customer service at times, but this one I had to write. I moved to Greenwich in April 2021 and have ordered from Firehouse Deli on numerous occasions (told by many that it is the best in Greenwich) as I am an owner of a company that has employees, clients and vendors to meet much which involves lunch. This establishment has always invoiced me incorrectly or the order is wrong. The amounts never add up to the receipt, told verbally or the banking account. Although the food is good (but a bit overpriced) and Anthony (owner) is very nice and responsive, all orders never go accordingly, whether it is in the pricing, missing items, incorrect items. So disappointed !
I’ve been a long time customer for about about a year now. Food is very good but sending the orders out and delivery is HORRIBLE! I placed an order this morning at 10am called at 11:50am and the order still haven’t been sent out for delivery now I’m stuck at work all day with nothing to eat. I definitely will not be ordering from here again.
