We’ve been ordering weekly since it opened. The food is consistently PERFECT. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
We ordered for a medical lunch meeting for our office - New England Stem Cell Institute -- and everything came exactly as ordered, warm, and so delicious!! The salads were fantastic, the chicken shawarma was filled with really great quality chicken, and the waffle fries were so delicious. Will definitely be ordering from here again!!
Undoubtedly good food but the prices are unjustifiable. When ordering, make sure to choose the amount of gyro/falafel/etc that you want because this restaurant literally gives you 1 slice of gyro—if that's your choice. Almost a test to see how much people will spend for a salad.
We absolutely LOVED the consistent food quality in Bloomfield and traveled fromMA to get it, eat- in and take-out. So, now we traveled the distance to Glastonbury. Wow. Such a difference in the roadside gyro. A+ in Bloomfield. A kindly C- in Bloomfield. The meat was definitely different—old, packaged, reheated?—you tell me—but dry, boring, tasteless. The Tzatziki sauce was absent, but I had ordered an extra (for .50) so I could use that. No slices of tomato or onion—a minuscule sprinkle of tiny cut-up pieces instead. Zero flavor of onion; tomato tidbits here and there. The wrap itself—so ordinary, so unlike the delicious, fresh Bloomfield one. The size—no comparison to Bloomfield. $16.50!!!! and I threw it out after eating half! To add insult to injury, I had confidently recommended it so my son ordered one as well. Chicken Shawarma was very good, and burger as well . But we went there for the Greek gyro! Talk about first impressions…..I have no clue why legitimate reviews would rate this highly. I trusted everything was going to be the same here which is what I read in a Courant interview when Bloomfield closed. I wish you success in a new establishment, and I honestly never write reviews, but this one I just had to. The Greek food needs to stay top notch to succeed.I always come home with a bottle of your dressing, which is unique and excellent, and I did once again. It will be a sad reminder to me of an old favorite gone by. ?
One of the best lamb gyros I ever had. Add mad Greek sauce if u like a little kick you won't regret it !
Delicious food. Highly recommend. I ordered our food through their website. I picked up the food myself. Everything was easy and went extremely well from ordering to pickup.
Mother of god.. the best gyro I have eaten since my last trip to Germany. ( Greek and Turkish food is better there ).It have all the things you want and more , not the typical sandwich from big restaurants , this one was made with love and Care .. also came with a can of soda and Waffle fries with green onions and spices .. delicious everything, I’ll be back for sure .
I had the chicken shawarma with a salad. The flavor was fine but the chicken barely warm and it was very dried out. The chicken tastes like they cook it somewhere else and just heat it up. I would skip this especially for what they charge. Two sandwiches was basically $30 and they weren't worth spending $18 in my opinion.
Sooo delicious and the staff is so nice. Highly recommend
Large portions for the price. Fresh and authentic Mediterranean food.
