One of my favorite coffee shops in town. The owners are incredibly nice and we've ordered cakes from them, tried many of the items (macrons, taro crepe cake, espresso tonic amd lemonade tonic are some favorites), and love that the space has expanded now.Less popular but an item that really sets it apart from others are the Bing su dishes. Portions are large so don't be turned away by the price. Do wish there was an additional mochi since the dish is perfect for sharing.Be aware that the hours are limited, which often makes it hard for us to get to, and closed on Sundays but this is because they are family first small business and want to be sure to get time with the family (which is why I continue to support them).
Perfect atmosphere and even more perfect coffee drinks and desserts! I love stopping in for a latte and a treat and staying a while to meet up with a friend or sitting in their beautiful shop and getting a little work done.
The coffee is great. I think they use Giv Roasters. The customer service was super friendly. Atmosphere overall was calm and garden like. It was under construction a bit so hard to “judge” the experience, knowing they are working on it.I will definitely be back. It’s a good place to study.
I really wanted to like this cute little place but the coffee tastes slightly sour, like it's from old beans or something. This can happen if you buy too large of bulk beans in order to save $ and the beans get old. Too bad. ?? Deserts are really really good though.
First time ordering a Taro mousse cake and it was totally worth it! The consistency of the cake was amazing, unlike any other cake we have tried. The layers of cake were just the right amount of moist and the mousse flavor was great. We asked to add the fresh fruits at the top as well
raonjena's cakes are always a hit! very accommodating with flavors, and so many to choose from. because of a snow storm I picked up this particular birthday cake (blueberry yogurt flavor) the day before, and the next day it was still just as moist and delicious. as for individual slices, I found the crepe cake to be a bit heavy but you can never go wrong with the fruit cake slices and the taro cheesecake is my all time favorite!
I've tried their coffee, breakfast food, and desserts and I am blown away every time! The coffee is strong with many flavor notes to it. Their desserts are amazing, all of my friends love it when I stop here for goodies on my way to see them. Would highly recommend checking out this spot.

I decided to try this place as it was close to where my parents live and I wanted to support an independent cafe instead of a chain. It seemed like they had festive holiday drinks, so I thought it would be a fun treat for my roadtrip ahead. I ordered a hot chai latte, and sadly it was the worst chai I've ever had. There was so much spice in it that it burned my throat, yet it was oddly flavorless. It basically tasted like water with a ton of spices thrown it. I couldn't even take more than a few sips before I tossed it.I also ordered an egg and cheese sandwich and the egg was so runny. It was a mess and not cooked through. That may just be my individual preference, but they did not ask how I wanted the eggs, and I've never actually had an egg sandwich that didn't cook the yolk all the way through as usually it's scrambled. I also threw out the sandwich. It was also simply served on plain white bread which I didn't expect from a high-end bakery. I was hoping for a bagel or croissant or English muffin, but the menu didn't specify and I incorrectly assumed. However, I ordered my friend an iced coffee and she liked it well enough, so extra star for that.
Fancy delicious, and the price is just right. What else do you want?
