yes, love the food, love the atmosphere and love the servers. ♥️

I came here for happy hour with my friend on a Tuesday afternoon after hearing great things about it. Their happy hour is very early, 3-5pm so we got there for 4:30pm. Parking was good at that time, its on the street so I could see it getting very crowded. However I was able to park close and walk over. The building itself is very cool, an old house converted to a restaurant and the bar area is modern and nicely decorated. Our bartender was friendly and she checked on us multiple times. Their food specials and drink options were also good for happy hour! The burger slider was actually the size of a normal burger so I thought that was a great deal.Overall I'd recommend a stop in, I just wish their happy hour went to 6pm like the places nearby because I'd choose this place more often!

While driving to our hotel we noticed Max Fish. The gentlemen at the front desk highly recommended it and said we wouldn’t be disappointed when we asked for dinner recommendations. The minute we walked in we knew that we were in for a treat. It reminded me of a brasserie restaurant I used to frequent in New Orleans, LA. Our server was wonderful and helped us with the best selections from the raw bar. I enjoyed a perfectly seasoned bouillabaisse and don’t even get me started on those fries ? My love had a steamed lobster with epic mashed potatoes and asparagus. I loved all the attention to detail and especially the hot towel at the end to clean our hands. I can guarantee you if we were locals this would be a frequent spot for us. Thank you for the wonderful service and dining experience! Frank & Amy from Syracuse, NY!

Went to 5 Guys had a cheeseburger was delicious. Sadden by the amount of fries now given used to be overflowing put them above the rest of hamburger resteraunts Not no more!

Offering great food and a raw bar this upscale casual restaurant will help with any seafood cravings you might have. The have happy hour from 4-6 on weekdays with food and cocktails. They have fully stocked bar with pretty much anything you can think of and great craft cocktail selection. The have a good selection of local beer as well. Staff is very kind and friendly.

Max is always on our go to place. This time was no different. Everything from service to delicious food was outstanding. We absolutely loved the mushroom bisque which was a special but we are hoping for it to make the regular menu item it was just so good.

Treated my sister to an excellent dinner on Easter weekend. Loved the with artic char with chef’s specialty , ginger rice and a delicious pablano sauce!

Needed a good seafood place to take my gf on our anniversary, because seafood is her favorite. Found a reddit page of people talking about seafood places in CT. Did my research on each place listed, and came down to 1 place over the others. So I made a reservation for 2 on the formal dining side. When we got there, she said she had heard about this place from her boss and it should be very good. We were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was perfect, the service was great, they always came over to check on us. The food was worth the price. The only thing not so good was the way the seating is, wish I had a booth. All in all fantastic night. Would recommend.

This was a wonderful dining experience. Our server Michael was the best

Great service. Amazing flavors. Varied menu with a staff that will work with you to achieve exactly what you want. Even though the dining room was packed and the staff were moving like mad, they all went out of their way to make the evening about the individuals dining experience. Will definitely be back.
