The menu is EXTENSIVE. It took my family about 20 minutes to decide. That being said I was very disappointed with the flavor aspect of each meal. Presentation was great flavor was ok. The chicken with roasted garlic pasta dish lacked any flavor of garlic. Thr noodles were definitely fresh good consistency. Chicken was ok wanted that garlic flavor, cooked well. The cream sauce was good but no garlic. The salmon was missing flavor cooked perfect though. Philly Cheese steak was ok. Could have used more seasonings on the steak. Bread was good. Fish and chips were good. Fried perfectly. Overall it was ok. Not going out of my way to go back. But if invited I'll go.
First time here today and overall I was pretty impressed. Comfortable and lively atmosphere with clean booths and TVs, friendly waitstaff, who checked on us and took their time instead of rushing. Plenty of menu choices, too many maybe, but the food was delicious, one of the best Cesar salads I’ve ever had and the drinks form the bar were good too. Was a little chilly inside, but tolerable. Prices were fair, outside dining looked just as good with a outdoor fireplace. I’ll definitely be back.
I’m giving 2 stars due to the fact I had a great meal here a few months ago and the server was great on the night we came in. The day shift yesterday was horrible though and I won’t return again. Walk in to a bunch of hosts and servers piled around the stand laughing and swearing with each other. No acknowledgment to us standing there at first. Everything starts off good until our servers are switched after ordering. Food comes out and we are missing 2 items. By the time the server comes to check on us we are just about done eating and no longer need the 2 appetizers. We politely cancelled the order and asked for the manager. While waiting for her my wife begins to break out in hives on her neck. Surprise #2. Though we ordered gluten free and stressed the allergy, even checked by the manager on the ticket, the food was not gluten free and my wife had a rash and stomach pain all night. The manager denied the food had gluten and said we could have our drinks for free but to little to late. We decided to just maintain the politeness and leave. Not worth making a fuss as we all work in the industry and understand but not happy at all. The only shining moment was the bus boy who brought our food and cleaned the table. He was attentive and polite.
This place is very 50/50, sometimes I go there and have a great experience with amazing food. Today I went there, I got the Filet Mignon (medium rare), the steak was medium well (almost well done). It was pretty dry as well, and the food and drinks took a long time to come. I had to ask 3 separate times just to get my water. Not a great experience.
My boyfriend has raved about this place, I am a newbie. Was told the menu was extensive and it truly was . It had Apps, fit menu, plant based, artisan pizza,sandwiches, burgers, salads, street treats, pasta, house specials, chicken specials, seafood, steak etc.. Chose a pulled pork sandwich on a pretzel roll and a burger with egg on top. Both delish. Waitress was good, meal was good, atmosphere was good. Nothing negative to say.
On the left is the chicken roasted garlic pasta (sub shrimp no tomatoes and mushrooms) from the MANCHESTER location and right is the chicken roasted garlic pasta (no mushrooms, tomatoes or peas. It’s also unheated but looks even worse heated- no sauce) from the Glastonbury location. Regardless of the substitutions of meat and veggies, the pasta and sauce are COMPLETELY different. I frequent the Manchester location so I expected a rich creamy white sauce with these long grooved noodles. Instead I got a sauceless pasta with generic noodles that turns to oil when heated. I was very disappointed as my meal was inedible. Maggie Mcfly’s, please be more consistent with your recipes. I will still visit your Manchester location but please notify the chefs of this location as this is a very delicious pasta when made correctly by Manchester.
Very slow service. Only average food. I wanted a flight of beer. The beers to chose from are listed on the menu. The server had to get the list from the bar, it took him 10 minutes. I made my selection he came back ten minutes later saying one of the beers was not available This happened twice. The same thing happened to another in our party who ordered a flight of bourbon. After the drink orders were made it took another 15 minutes to receive them. As for the food it was only average. It they reduce the size of the menu they could have better control of quality.
The food was great! Fresh and tasty!Staff was friendly and fast.The bar is also very well equipped with a lot of awesome spirits, beers and drinks! We can definately recommend this place. But make sure to have a reservation.
I’m gonna be honest I’m not a big fan of Maggie’s. I know many people like it because they have so much to offer on their menu. But it’s because it’s not fresh. We ordered lunch from this location to be delivered by DoorDash. While the order was correct (and mostly hot/warm) the food was very bland. I can’t speak for the other employees but my chicken strips had no flavor I only ate half of one. No sauce was offered to dip it. The truffle fries are delicious but not crispy at all. This isn’t the first time we have ordered but thought we would give it another shot. Good service and fast delivery. But not a big hit.
The last 3 times I’ve been here, I’ve had a bad experience. I order an appetizer and it takes forever. By the time I get my appetizer my food comes to the table within 5 min. No time to finish my app. The kitchen is really slow with orders and the 3 times the kitchen forgets something on my food plate. Most recent time I ordered Alfredo with chicken. The waitress forgot to put the chicken on the order. By the time I got the chicken for my pasta I already finished my plate and was ready to leave. This maggys used to be an awesome spot but I just can’t trust them to get anything right or in a timely fashion. Sadly I will no longer be eating here as I cannot trust their service anymore. They always seem to forget something on my order. Or bring me the wrong food.
