First impressions are lasting. Call me OG this is my impression: Walking into this Place felt like walking into a morgue. The only thing alive here was the older woman behind the register. She was personable, polite and had great smile at 7:45a. Behind the counter was a younger representative who obviously needs retraining customer service and hospitality and courtesy. She was very selective who she greeted. Her attitude left a bad taste. Call me old school. Now for the food: it would’ve tasted a lot better if we had left feeling welcomed and hospitable. I ordered two sandwiches: A burrito and A Cuban sandwich. Overall I have had better sandwiches.

First time here. Staff was very warm and friendly. Coffee was hot and filled to the top. Perfect. I also grabbed a bag of twelve small cheese topped rolls. Total a bit over ten. What I would expect. The price on most items seemed right inline with market price. I would have really liked to see at least one signature donut. That's what I went in for. Very please with my visit. Worth giving it a try. Keep in mind that it will be more than a Dunkin visit but it's worthwhile.

I love the ambiance with relaxing music playing while I'm drinking a coffee with a shot of espresso and writing up an offer for a gorgeous home in Glastonbury down the street.I would definitely stop by here and maybe have a Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie ? too ?.

I ended up there quite by mistake today. My car was having issues so I pulled off into their parking lot. Ready to cry I looked up & saw their sign. A good cup of tea can solve most anything, so I went in hoping for even a mediocre cup of tea. I was shocked to see they actually had Harney & Son tea, my absolute favorite tea! Ordering a cup, I looked around at the people sitting around the bakery. It was a pleasant place & people were all enjoying themselves, chatting & eating away. I glanced down at the baked goods on display & again was shocked at how wonderful everything looked! Everything from large, homemade pretzels, huge Nutella (!!) cookies, yummy looking raspberry bars, & my favorite…orange, cranberry scones!!! I bought them all!Making small talk as my tea was being freshly made & tasty looking scones put in a box, I said something about my car having trouble & how lucky I was to pull in their parking lot & have my day turned around in minutes. The smiling counter person said to let her know if my car still didn’t work when I tried it again, she had jumper cables in her car, & would help with anything I needed. Again, I was shocked. Who does things like this anymore these days?! I thanked her again & again, went to go out the door, & another smiling counter person held it open for me, thanking me for stopping by.While I don’t live close to Glastonbury, I can tell you I will be making a special trip up there just to go back here. When my car gets fixed that is! A BIG thank you for the best tea, the absolutely delicious scones, & turning my day completely around. I am now a devoted fan! ❤️

Food & coffee were amazing

I've had a great experience the few times I've been here. There is a younger male who was the cashier both times I've visited and he was very friendly and attentive- I think he is what made my visits stand out to me. I'm picky with coffee but I enjoy the iced coffee here and the food is good too, especially the choco chip cookie!

Service was sub, grilled cheese and soup were ok. Would only go back for convenience .In response to owner reply:Not sure how to reply directly to your response but here you go:I was there on 11/4 at appx 1:30pm. My first time in the area and needed something to eat before an appointment I had scheduled. The interaction with the person at the register was what I was referring to when saying the service was sub. The experience with her wasn't pleasant and, based on the cost, I would have expected a better experience at the register. The grilled cheese and broccoli cheddar soup combo was ok.

Where are all these good reviews coming from?? The place has no charm or ambiance, but more importantly, the food is so disappointing. I got an avocado and vegetable sandwich that sounded SO good, and then I got it and found the whole thing was slathered in ranch (which, to my recollection, the menu description did not advertise). Ranch aside, the sandwich was edible, but not very good. Even the house-made bread was hard and dry. Thinking maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, I tried again with a chai latte and a cookie. As I went to place my order, a crotchety old woman cut me off to complain to the cashier about her "disappointing, flavorless, overpriced lunch." I should have taken it as a sign and cut my losses, but I felt bad and proceeded with ordering a chai that came out barely tepid and a chocolate chip cookie that tasted like a day-old sugar cookie for some weird reason. I paid my $9 and sadly threw the order in the garbage as soon as I left.

Great coffee and bakery shop in Glastonbury. They have a variety of options for coffee and bakeries. Also, they have ample space for parking. I liked their egg sandwich with cappuccino coffee. If you like hot coffee ask them for extra hot. Overall good experience.
