Getting together with family after a funeral. Everything was great. Our server, Zack, was very good attentive and very nice
Had reservations for 9:15pm, paid for uber got there and it closed at 9pm. How can I make a reservation and the restaurant isnt even opened????
We went for a fun family pizza night. We have one person in the party with gluten allergies but were happy to find cauliflower crust pizza so we could ALL eat pizza together. After ordering and getting drinks, we were told (by our very disappointed waiter) that they sold out of all cauliflower crust on the weekend and didn't have any more. This was very disappointing to the gluten free person, who got salad while we all had pizza. Overall a good experience, decent Sporkie Pizza, good soda (wish there were more soda varieties) and a kind waiter.
I have to work in Connecticut for the next few weeks. I was craving pasta, and I figured why not try to find something that really stands out, something out of the ordinary. I came upon this place Bertucci's And I am so glad that I did everything In the menu sounded so good I am going to have to try as many things as I can before I get to go back to California. If the manager of the owner reads this review, please consider opening up a place in California Orange County pretty, please.
Very good pizza straight from the wood-fired brick oven. Great slightly sweet crust, mildly charred on the very ends. I would say they should slice their mushrooms thinner. All the other vegetables weren't quite cooked enough either (as the pizza cooks so fast in the oven). The marinara sauce (had it with ravioli that were full of fresh ricotta) they use is as bright red as you'll see and full of (I'm assuming San Marzano) chunky tomatoes. Very high quality ingredients here. The sausage and pepper appetizer was incredible. This, and many other foods including the roasted vegetables, are cooked in their brick oven. Gives it all an unbelievable fire-roasted taste. The happy hour menu has great selections at cheap prices as well. Unbelievable specials including 2 for 1 pizzas on Mondays and 2 for 1 pasta dishes on Tuesdays! Very happy with Bertucci's.
Today I ordered five items. The salad was good. I like their dressing. While they gave me six complementary buns, which is a lot, there was no butter. The meatballs were good and I like the grilled buns. The Tuscany wings were real good - warm and moist. They come in a nice cardboard box and wrapped in tinfoil. My biggest complaint is the Rigatoni Alla Vodka with Crispy Pepperoni. The pasta and sauce were fine. However, they completely forgot the crispy pepperoni, which I was looking forward to. Someone needs to be making sure that anything leaving that kitchen is perfect. The mascarpone cake was nice and light.
Wen here on 2/11/22 and was very disappointed with my overall experience. The salmon dinner was dry and tasteless with the taste of store bought pasta and sauce. Waitress never refilled our drinks or offered us another beverage. I remember this place was good years ago.. not sure if it’s management why the food was mediocre. Never going again. I’m done.
This place is so good. Bravo!! I am so happy with the excellent service and the cookie pizza thing (was) to die for. I also love the rolls. You have not LIVED until you have went to this amazing, fantastic pizzaria!! My plate is empty because the food is scrumptious. 10/10
Fresh-baked hot, crusty rolls to die for, with herb & spice olive oil dip! Excellent brick-oven pizza, crisp but not burned. Leftover pizza still delicious when reheated the next day. Service was tops. Nice roomy booths, even for big guys like me. You won't be disappointed!
They were amazing when our volleyball team stopped in after the tournament at the convention center. They were so accommodating and organized so that each family could pay for their family while allowing the team to sit together and the families to sit at another table next to them. A little slow but understandably because it was such a big party.
