Terrible experience today. Sat inside for lunch and had to repeatedly ask for the music to be turned down as it was so loud I had difficulty understanding and hearing my lunch buddy. When I asked him he said he’ll ask the manager but was not certain he would accommodate me. It was turned down for a short while and then right back up to the volume previously complained about. When I paid the tab I spoke to my server and told him why I had chosen not to leave a tip. The server said “I don’t see why I should have to suffer bc of my boss, to which I replied your right but this is a $75. lunch and I wasn’t comfortable for most of it due to the noise despite my requests. The server asks me to speak to the manager. Which I did and he very unprofessional and only only defended the loud music. I asked him to please send understand and he continued to try and argue with me. The food today was just average and they were out of the wine I asked for on the menu as well.Come on Molto. You’re better than that.
Had a delicious dinner here with my wife this weekend (Memorial Day Weekend). We split the Mozzarella sampler platter and an order of Calamari to start and had the steak with a pepper cream aoili sauce that was out of this world for dinner. Love sitting outside watching the worl pass by while enjoying a great meal.
Server kept bugging us to order!!! First with the appetizers, then she's like "what entree you want", like could I even look at my app first before you're bombarding me about my entree...then it was asking about dessert repeatedly. She finally noticed herself, that she was asking to much, said exactly that and walked away nervously. Food seems pretty generic as well, like a olive garden type chain. They just make it sound ohh-la-la.

Molto is my go to for a lively happy hour meal and glass of wine. It does get packed so you may have to flirt your way to a seat at the bar (kidding). If you don’t mind waiting for a seat it’s totally worth the experience and the food! I had the penne ala vodka but I substituted the penne.
Waitress in front was very pleasant, and sweet. There was another woman who was with her, looked like she could be a manager. The young lady went to get change and the other woman came back with the food. As I'm taking the food, she ask did we pay lol. Like we were going to walk out with free food. It was a little embarrassing. It was weird....she didn't say it quietly either. My response was yes, we paid....she annoyed me. She had theaudacity to really think we were going to walk out with free food. Never again!!
Food arrived completely incorrect, cold soggy mess. I was incredibly specific with my ordering instructions. Not one was followed!!! Asked for the sauce on the side with the cauliflower, everything was mixed together and inedible. Asked for NO WALNUTS on the bruschetta (as I am highly allergic ) and for it to be packed separately, it came assembled, rendering it inedible. The calamari could have have been anything. Cold, soggy, garbage can fodder. The mussels, meh. The fried mozzarella could have come from the freezer. Sad sad sad food experience. They did NOT offer to remake anything or give me a full refund. I called 2 times, got the runaround. My instructions were very clear on my order. Avoid ordering from MOLTO, unless you like to be very disappointed. We should have ordered from Shiki Hana, where the fried items always arrive HOT, and crisp. Both restaurants are less than 5 minutes from my house in Fairfield. In fact, I think we are going to give them a call now.
I have to say honestly I have never had a bad meal at molto. Even if I call it in and go pick it up it's still a scrumptious at home as it is in the restaurant. Something not to be missed is there lemon martini absolutely perfection. Great service and a friendly staff
I travel all the way from New Haven Connecticut the food was delicious I've been telling all my friends about this place and I will be seeing you guys soon
Great wine selection. The wait staff is phenomenal. My favorite are the lamb chops...they melt in your mouth!We had a great date night. We will be back again soon!
