The place is very unwelcoming. I don’t like how they don’t have their pizza out on display. There pizza gets a 3 out 5. Looks like chucky cheese pizza but it tastes alright. There mozzarella sticks were good. Wouldn’t be my go to pizza spot. Three stars is very fair!!
We arrived at 9:45 to pick up a couple of late night pizzas. The shop was closing but Kate, the owner, kindly offered to go back in and make us our pies. Who even does that anymore. It’s a true sign of a community based small business - not the big chain pizza. Beyond the amazing customer service, the pizza is awesome. No need to go to New Haven! Thank you Kate. Forever a Mikes fan!
I've been eating here on a regular basis foe over 10 years and the food is always excellent from pizza to pasta. However today i was given a piece of the most amazing dessert I have ever tasted, a piece of HOME MADE OREO CHEESE CAKE, so good that I bought the rest of the cake . By far the best dessert in faurfield, probably CT, I ordered a whole cake for my mom on mother's day.
Maria and Eddie are the rudest people ever.. They need some customer service training and lied to me and said they were the owners of the pizza place.. I placed an order for pick up and what I received was cold pizza and fries.. I'm beyond disappointed and will never order again and I will make sure no one else I know does the same.
My favorite restaurant is called Mike’s Pizza. The food there is as exquisite as a piece of Damien Hirst’s finest artistry. I always order the same thing: margherita pizza with a side of spaghetti, a true delight to my mouth. Not everyone knows about the restaurant because it is in a rather desolate part of town. Yet, the owner is so thoughtful, and has befriended all of his customers. If you haven’t been there, I highly suggest you go.
Our family has been coming to Mike’s for 30 years. Sadly it seems the business was sold and now is nothing like it was — it is quite bad. Don’t bother visiting.
1st and last time trying this pizza. I like to try different pizza places. I've had some amazing pizza in Ffld County but I can honestly say this is the worst pizza I have ever had. The crust is lifeless and unsalted. The cheese seems to be cheap. Looks like it evaporated of disintegrated in the oven. Ordered a bacon, chicken ranch.Toppings were bigger than bite size. I had to remove them first. They were to heavy for the slice. With all these Toppings it still lackes flavor, arrived almost at room temperature. There's not enough sauce and what is there tastes like out of a can.. Total waste of money. The kids won't even eat it. There was no love added to this recipe.
What happened to Mikes!? Used to be the best pizza in Fairfield and now its flat Chucky Cheese style pie.
Did Mike's Pizza change ownership? The pizza doesn't taste anything close to what is used to taste like and we have been ordering from Mike's for over 10 years, almost on a weekly basis.
They gave my doordash delivery order to a different person. They didn’t check who the order was for before handing it out. the boss wouldn’t remake the order and was in a rush to get out and was of no help. I lost the money for my delivery and time.
