Nice bar and outdoor seating but food and drink was just ok. Malibu marg is sweet and nothing special. Sweet potato guac sounded better than it was. Basic guacamole, that needed salt, with a few sweet potatoes on top. Greek bowl was good but very little lamb as compared to the rest of the ingredients. In all fairness my review might be slanted because I didn’t like the service. The bartender was a little arrogant and condescending. I was a party of one and I’m not sure if he was comfortable with that or if he was just distracted.
Sub-par food and service. Had brunch there and the service was not very good. The waiter wasn’t bad but seemed cold and didn’t really check on our table, which I would understand during a rush but the place wasn’t busy at all. Also, received really weird stares from the blonde bartender/manager throughout our whole meal although we were friendly, pretty quiet actually, and only had three people at our table? (edit: I’ve just read some other tables of younger women having negative experiences with the female waitstaff and my friends and I definitely got a taste of that). Just a really weird & unwelcoming vibe from hostess stand to table service. Very beautiful restaurant however and bussers were kind.
amazing food and service. Usually I dine at the establishment. Tonight I placed an order through Uber eats. As humans they forgot to deliver one meal. I called the store and the manager, Christian, said they would deliver me the food they forgot. & he delivered it personally. Now that made my day. Great job Malibu taco. Thanks for a great meal and amazing customer service.
I came here for a casual business meeting. The service was excellent. We all ordered from the salad/rice bowls section on the menu. Everything was fresh & delicious. Margs were great too. I will definitely be back!
The food and atmosphere are great… but I would hope that they made a little bit of an effort into the quality of service they provide. I came with a party of three at 5 pm on a Sunday evening (04/10/22) and ordered a round of drinks every half hour and some appetizers. After 2 hours, the bartender at the bar handed us the check without asking whether we were done with our evening and ready to close out our bill. We were surrounded by occupied stools around the bar; mostly by couples and mostly by non-Hispanic folk;…around 3 hour away from the restaurant closing — so of course we absolutely felt a biased treatment against us. I have lived in the area and moved from NYC after the start of pandemic in 2019 and never have I felt such disdain and biased treatment against me. Please make a bigger effort to train your staff in the possibility of serving an increasingly diverse clientele. I am not sure what assumptions your staff made of me or my party by the color of our skin.. but none of the POC patrons around us were handed a check without explicitly asking for one. Please, please please do better!
Not everyone wants to order online. When calling, the reps can be very rude. I don't understand why that the case and it's been on multiple occasions that I'm literally spending energy on a review. Probably won't return after this.. It's a customer service job, why the attitude? Food is honestly good, service takes away from the experience. Easily spent about $700+ here, just sick of the lazy service at this point
Food was great! Staff was accommodating and friendly. They took great care of us despite us bringing a dog and getting hit with unexpected rain. They opened their awning to keep us covered so we could eat outside. Food was delicious. Drinks were great.
Best tacos around. Love the innovation spin on the menu offerings. Great vibe and customer service. Definitely will be back
friendly. inviting environment. all ages. fresh quality. great prices. delicious always. great staff.
Early bird... quick seating. Staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable....and always attentive to address any questions...but also if I wished to order anything else including deserts. I caved I for both... to many options available to only pic one.
