I never write reviews but man they staff was soooo friendly here and the food was great, I work at a suit store right by and always wanted to stop by and boy ol boy was I so happy! It’s a bit pricy but well worth it. Tasted fresh, cooked well, the bread was delicious, healthy amounts of lobster and judt good vibes. Would def recommend.

2022 update. The business now has a permanent place at the same spot. It also expanded to other towns. But I can say that the food is unchanged. Each roll is stuffed with a lot of lobster. And service remains fast and friendly.

For a hot buttered lobster roll it didn't have any butter just spices sprinkled on top. The home made potato chips are a nice touch unfortunately a lot of them were soft and soggy from the oil which left them inedible. Hopefully next time we won't be disappointed.

Tried their new location in Fairfield on the Post Road.Terribly disappointed. The large Lobster Bisque was just flavored water made with spices, mostly pepper. The water could have been what they cooked the Lobster in ! The Coastal was a small bun with little Lobster! I have had much better on Cape Cod !And they didn't honor their price posted on the Web site.

Very good lobster roll. The surf and tuf roll was excellent. Friendly staff.Sad, but inflation is making lobster way too expensive though. I paid $35 for the surf and turf. Not a good value.

Incompetent staff at the Fairfield location. Ordered my lobster roll, was waiting 25 min. Went in to ask and they didnt even know about the order that they took and I paid for 25 minutes earlier. Wish I could say the wait was worth it…salt overpowered any flavor of the lobster.

The services was wonderful, the order came out very quickly. Staff was very friendly. The lobster rolls were the best we ever had. Served with potato chips and butter. They even had dog bones for the puppies.

We've been meaning to try a lobster roll at Lobstercraft, but never got around to it. Then they closed their Fairfield location, so we lost interest. The other day, we were driving along the Post Road, and noticed that they have a new location, on the other side of the Post Road, and much more visible than their previous one. Today, on a whim, we stopped for lunch. Glad we did. My wife and I both chose the 'Coastal' - basically hot, buttered lobster in a brioche bun, with a side of potato chips. Very simple - very tasty. The bun is often the weak link in lobster rolls, but this wasn't the all too familiar hot dog bun, but a rather nice, lightly toasted, brioche. The lobster meat was pretty good. Not as fresh as recently-killed clambake, but pretty close. The potato chips were a pleasant accompaniment. Home made? We forgot to ask. We sat outside, watching the traffic on the Post Road. There are several tables. Very pleasant. Expensive? Fairly. Lobsters are hard to find these days.

You won’t find another lobster roll as great at this around central CT! I 100% guarantee it! Chef was accommodating, and customer service was awesome! Will be back for sure! Thank you guys!

Never open. Expanding way to fast to keep the product fresh and delicious.
