Had an amazing brunch experience today! Brunch food was great, atmosphere is perfect and there was live music for brunch. 10/10 new favorite spot in Fairfield
First time I was there highly recommend food was awesome and our waitress Laura was double awesome!
What a great little spot. The only disappointment was me waiting so long to try this place. Small... not many tables but worth it!
I ordered a special of halibut with beet salad and goat cheese. I got a grilled piece of halibut with no seasoning and a plate of mixed vegetables. I will never order from them again.
Best nachos great service lots to offer on the menu
This small bar/restaurant (formerly known as Tuckers) is off the beaten track, but is a real find. Clean , cosy (a little tight on Covid social distancing ... but ...), friendly very attentive staff , great food and wine, and a super atmosphere. The burgers were as good as we have had anywhere (a good choice of dishes on the QR code downloaded menu) and a proper NY chessecake dessert (I had two !).
The culinary experience was delicious!Unfortunately, the environment was so energetically hostile to my family and I. To provide context, we were the only African-American family in this establishment and we experienced micro-aggressions most consistently from our waitress - she is unnamed because we addressed her directly regarding how she chose to show up in our presence.Kindness and sincerity are not gifts to be distributed to those deemed "worthy or acceptable", they are expressions of love and light to be freely given to humanity. If this establishment has any desire to cultivate an inclusive, warm and welcoming environment - to all who walk through their doors - then I would encourage them to consider purposefully and intentionally training its staff to engage with all people with humanity. If you need a mindful, thoughtful, and thorough trainer, I would be happy to recommend one that comes highly recommended. With love and light I share, and I hope that it is carefully considered and received. Gratitude ✨
What a great hidden gem! Small yet quaint with excellent food and service by Jacklyn. We will be back!
I can only speak to the brunch. Menu was promising, and the corned beef hash would probably have been excellent -- it was legit, housemade. Hard to find in CT... Unfortunately, our food arrived lukewarm at best. Hoping that was a 'one off', but it wasn't all that busy... Live Jazz during Sunday brunch was cool.
Great atmosphere and fantastic food. 2 piece jazz band playing made for a perfect experience!
