I don't recommend this place at all! to noisy! a bunch of screaming, noisy kids. no parent supervision. rude loud kids. I don't come out to eat and pay for this crap. totally a loud obnoxious place. won't be back! we tried Fridays and Sundays both are horrible!!
Not a new haven style but still really good, l really like the atmosphere here too. Staff has always been very friendly. Great place to grab a pie and watch some games.
It was my first time at the Coliny Grill in Fairfield and I must say the thin crust pizza with fresh toppings is the best I've ever tasted. The restaurant has plenty of seating but when packed, as it was on a Thursday night, a little loud which is understandable.
After buying a lovely onion pizza I was ready to pay my check and leave. The young man at the register however accused my of not paying. I left the store and he chased me down waving the check even though I had paid! The check came out to $17.36 and THEY ADDED TIP! Like sir I would have given you this juicy tip if you wanted but you alr added. I then changed the tip to -$100 so I made about $80 dollars thank you Colony for getting me paid.
The most amazing pizza!!! Great service,friendly staff and and great atmosphere. Very clean full bar.
Colony Pizza is, by far, my favorite pizza place EVER!!!I have NEVER had a bad experience or pie since the day they opened in Fairfield. All their staff is always nice & have never disappointed me.Keep rocking it Colony!!!
When we arrived the place was packed and we waited in the line, we asked how long the wait would be and we were told 25 minutes. Other people arrived and were seated before us. I assume they had a reservation? but I dont know how this place runs. After 30 minutes we ask the host again how long the wait will be because we have been waiting to be seated for quite a while at this point, she said that she could get our name and the wait will be 25 to 30 minutes. We decided to just leave after that because we are not going to wait any longer just for pizza. Overall the place was packed, we were not greeted by the female host, we waited for nothing, and the place seemed packed and disorganized with people walking in and out. The queue line is next to bathrooms for what i think is the rear entrance which made it more chaotic. I just dont understand why they would have this many people but nowhere to sit and wait, it felt akward just standing in what felt like a 5.5 foot wide little hallway. Overall poor hosting service, the woman didnt greet us neither bother ask us for a name to reserve a name on the list. If its a name she wanted she should be asking the guests for it instead of standing around watching people eat.
food was very good and so was the service. first time. will be back.
