Fish dish was quite plain and the chicken was underwhelming and overdone.

This is a great spot, a bit of a hidden gem in Southport. I'm always surprised more people don't know about it but I'll admit, it's quiet atmosphere and excellent personal attention from the staff are a big part of the charm. The food is... 14/10 amazing. You'll want to be a regular here because the menu is constantly adding new innovations. Not fusion, not Continental, not French, nor Italian - hard to peg but always a delight.

The food was terrific. Surprised me with how nice it was. It did seem a bit overpriced. Over $200 for 3 people. The other thing I would note is that it's quite a cozy space and you feel like the other tables are to close for comfort in a post COVID world. We had the misfortune of sitting next to someone who was obviously sick and coughing the whole time!Service was slow for a Saturday night. They were very courteous when they did come to serve however. Will try again in the summer when outdoor seating is available.

We had wanted to go here for months. Finally booked ahead and success!;Appetizers were excellent, from wedge salad, duck confit and sausage pasta. Mains delicious, and good variety of cuisine. We had pasta, chicken and then chicken curry. Desert bread pudding excellent , but cooking ice cream sandwich disappointing. Good ambience, service a bit off but every seat taken.

A great menu and beautiful decor.

Westport and Fairfield have myriad restaurants, most of which can break your ears thus prevent gracious table conversation with friends, and almost none have intimate, warm, cozy, romantic atmospheres. Thus to our thorough delight, by every category, trying Bonda last night, well exceeded the rest. The Atmosphere was our idea of intimate, personal elegance; the service was absolutely beyond anything you can find today in low to high end restaurants - attentive but never hovering, warm personality staff very well trained in professional hospitality techniques while being lovely people (Jasmine and Maitre D' especially charming) - we wanted for nothing. And the food - while the menu, especially with Covid limitations, wasn't exotic, it was solidly full range, and perfect in all execution. Every item on our plates was absolutely delicious!!! We had local Copp oysters, wedge salad with amazing maple roasted bacon, roasted artichokes antipasto, then pasta with sausage/cauliflower/raisin/pine nuts that was so light, in perfect flavor balance, and my husband ended on a big juicy caramelized onion burger, which even included the best pomme frittes plus a side watercress garni salad with yummy dressings - both the best ever. Neighboring tables' dishes were all beautiful. All dishes were exquisitely presented, and not the kind of pretentious style that's artistic but then you leave hungry. All their sauces were divinely light yet delicious. Nothing overpowered. It was a rare, total experience. We can't wait to go back.

Just had a wonderful dinner at Bonda! As always the food was perfection, and the service impeccable. The dining room has been spaced out for social distancing and there are fabulous drink specials. It’s such a treat to have such excellent dining in our backyard!

My husband and I can't say enough about Bonda. Whether you sit inside or out the venue is warm and welcoming. The food is over the top - every single time. YUM. The team anticipates and responds to our every need. Bonda is our go to - every time.

This was my first time at Bonda. The Bartender and staff were professional and very friendly. The Bartender Giuseppe recommended the leek carbonarra. It was delicious!! Even the patrons were friendly. This will not be my last time visiting This restaurant. I will tell my friends to come. Thank you Bonda and Staff. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I am obsessed with the express place in the back which makes the most amazing salads, sides and mains
