Tacos are all good....chose your favorite and enjoy. Sides are equally enjoyable...for me the Brussels are what I get everything. Service is good in or out.
Great margaritas and food! Try the guacamole and chips! Great service!
The service was excellent! The bartender was great!!! Very fast, accurate, excellent personality. The food simply sucked. The tacos lacked flavor, the meats were bland, hard to tell what they each were. The shrimp taco only had 2 shrimps. Overall the tacos were not good. In theory they sounded appealing but in terms of true authentic flavor, going to Long Wharf in New Haven, the taco trucks are 100% authentic and consistent. The tortillas were not warmed up and I think the best part of the food was the guacamole with chips. This place was just good for drinks and tortilla chips at best. I’m glad my wait was minimal, we quickly ate and left. We were done with the place within an hour. Bartaco seems like a better choice in this type of taco category if you’re looking for drinks, ambiance and decent tacos (not authentic)
Great little place. Authentic flavors and nice options. Queso was good and probably authentic but used to a more creamy preparation. Tortilla chips are fresh made and really good. Salsa is natural and a great fresh break from other heavier options.
Fantastic! OMG. Great food and atmosphere. Service was also very good. We’ll be back next time we’re in town. Don’t hesitate to visit.
I went on a family trip and I stopped to eat at the restaurant with my children and you saw a lot of ethics in serving the client and very clean and organized and the food was super delicious and the guacamole was perfect ??
The staff is on point and friendly. The happy vibes here are infectious. The ambiance is relaxed and very Californian. Foods here gotta go!
Bodega has good food! But A server with long nails it’s quite disgusting. Explaining which taco we had pointing with this huge nail almost touching our food also grabbing food ready from the kitchen with half of the finger inside the plate. I might order online but I won’t eat in there again.
Food is excellent. I had four different kinds of tacos and they were all good. The Baja Fish and Shrimp tacos were the best of the lot. With that said, we went on a Friday night and it was understandably busy, but also very loud. I get it that this is the norm for bar/restaurants nowadays (loud music, high decibel of conversations), but for me it’s just too much. I literally couldn’t have a conversation with my wife sitting across the table from me. Maybe that’s not the intent in a place like this on a Friday night, and that’s ok. But the other issue is that one of the servers had fingernails that were about an inch and a half long. Neatly manicured, of course. But also sticking into plates of food as she carries them to tables. Yowzers. It actually made my wife feel nauseous seeing this and as soon as we finished our food we paid the check and left, as I thought she might get sick right then and there.Food: AService: BEnvironment: CHygiene: D-
Cozy little place with an impressive menu.
