This difference here is PRIME MEATS! Several Greenfield Hill Farmers Market customers have RAVED about steaks from A&S so I stopped in. WOW! WOW! WOW! This store has virtually EVERYTHING from the best steaks, chopped meat, chicken, veal, deli meats, salad and a HUGE variety of prepared foods. We tried their cheese filled pasta with vodka sauce - ready in three minutes - and it was OUTSTANDING! Their Caprese salad was excellent, fresh tomato wedges, Basil and mozzarella cheese! We also tried their "gourmet" sliced ham, which was sliced paper thin and just delicious! OMG! They have a full grocery line too, with shelves of oils, vinegar, dried pasta and Italian specialties! In addition, their full service bakery is a case of confection, everything FRESH, including breads, rolls and pastries! The staff is also very customer friendly. The gentleman behind the meat counter was patient, efficient and smiled when I mentioned the meats reminded me of the old "Fairway Beef," on Black Rock turnpike, out of business years ago. For the BEST food, BEST shopping experience and BEST staff ever, GO TO Battimelli's A&S Fine Italian Foods! You'll LOVE it! Trust me!

Any time I am in Fairfield I make it a point to stop here for lunch. I love all their sandwiches but The Carmine Special is my absolute favorite. The prepared foods are delicious, the meats are fresh and the shelves are always stocked with any grocery item you may need. Carmine and his team do an excellent job of taking care of their customers. Battimelli's A & S is the best around!

Alright where do i start? I saw this place on tiktok of all places for their chicken parm hero and i instantly shot over there i knew it was going to be amazing so i planned to get 2 the deli was so inviting every employee was attentive and friendly they really do treat you like family in there they had so many options as well it overwhelmed me in the best way i cant stress this enough this place is a gem and if you dont go youre missing out i took one bite of my sandwich and ended up eating the whole thing in the car before leaving 10/10

This place is great..But yesterday was the worst experience I had with my food.I ordered two very simple sandwiches.Got home some kind of different ham.For year's they put boars head ham on it.Mayo all over my sandwiches couldn't even grab it to eat it....Bread was a day old..couldn't even enjoy it..Sorry guy's maybe next time.
Food is horrible and I know why they been failing their health inspection for not storing the sausage in proper temperatures how discusting is that eeww it's funny cause the owner thinks his place is so great we'll why is he failing health inspections then if it's so wonderful yuck that grossed me out bad???
