“DONT GO TO THIS SHACK”, I went to this place impartial good or bad never tried it and its my friends birthday so I was glad to try something new with them but little did I know it was a complete sham. This restaurant had 1 waitress serving everyone she didn’t speak english well at all and kept giving my friend sprite instead of water not once or twice but 3 times thats ridiculous. Then you got this old white lady idk if she was the standing in manager or what but she had the worst type of condescending attitude I’ve ever seen and she was ‘racist’. I asked for something to cover my hair a piece of cardboard, a plastic bag, or a saucer or something it wasn’t even close to being so busy that they couldn’t spare a single saucer to assist me because it was raining Instead she says said “we cant do that you gotta figure that out you wont melt” then processed to say its only hair doesn’t matter, I have never felt more disrespected in my life after sitting for 2 and a half hours to get it done and paying 120$ this white lady tryna tell me my hair ain’t that important just get over it she could never catch me in there again I hope her boss shes this because that was a completely terrible visit and I wont be coming back again.
I love visiting Hibachi places because of the experience with your chef. The chef here was great. Ambience, place and quality of the food was ok. Everything looks older so your experience here might depend on your standards... but it's definitely ok.
This was the worst place ever. I wait 30 min for the server to come over and ask us we need to hurry up and order or they will turn the grill off. Then the server came to the table and said if we don't know what we want then we can leave. We was leaving out and she was following us cursing because we asked for the manager before we left. We still resume walking out and the server came out and took videos and pictures of our car because we told her that we are going to report her to the manager so she wanted cover her self when we file the report. We had to call Fairfield police to delete the videos because my minor was in the vehicle crying 6 year old daughter she was scared. PLEASE DO NOT GO ! They are rude and discriminated minorities. Only wanted to serve People that had suit and ties and was rude to use. She did not even know that I was a parole officer. Smh
Quiet atmosphere. looks small on the outside but the inside is roomier than expected drinks were very tasty and the cooks can gauge your groups mood pretty well keeping it minimal when it's quiet yet also able to provide that wow factor and a better show when it's a bigger more excitable crowd would recommend if you want to entertain some guests over good drinks
We made reservations for 8pm. Showed up a 7:30. Didn’t get seated till 8:40. Didn’t get served till 9:30. Hibachi only started at 9:50. Worst experience from any restaurant I’ve been to. The wait wasn’t even the worst part. When we finally got service everything was rushed.
Excelent service. Andy made our dinner so enjoyable. Will return.
Last night I had dinner at Akita with my family. It was a wonderful experience. Food was great and the chef outstanding at the hibachi table.What made this a truly exemplary experience is the care in which my son’s food allergies were treated. Dawn spoke with me prior to our visit. She demonstrated a lot of knowledge and went through the menu. When we arrived we were already set with a planMy son had a safe and enjoyable meal. Akita is outstanding and we will be back!
Best experience ever! Went to celebrate a friends birthday, and could not have chosen a better place. Everyone is so friendly and did everything they could to make the night special. Food and drinks were amazing and atmosphere was outstanding. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend this place to anyone who asks.
First time being here and gotta say my wife and I didn’t need to-go boxes. Noodles had flavor and the sushi was FRESH and tasty!!! Plus the waitress was very attentive, overall a great experience can’t wait to go back!!
I’ve been here for more than an hour waiting and my plate still empty. The service is awful. They do not take care of their customers. They don’t even understand English. Not a good experience. I don’t recommend this place.
